Deaths in custody committee welcomes WorkSafe charges
The Deaths in Custody Watch Committee has welcomed WorkSafe's announcement it will charge all parties involved in the death of Mr Ward.
The Aboriginal elder from Warburton died of heat stroke after he was driven through the Goldfields in a prison van in early 2008.
If convicted, the Department of Corrective Services and the company G4S would each face a maximum penalty of $400,000.
