Hrithik, SRK top Zee Cine Awards

Zee Cine Awards, which was held last night, awarded Hrithik Roshan as the Best Actor (Male) beating the ever-so-popular Salman Khan for Dabangg.

Even though Dabangg bagged the maximum number of trophies, Salman Khan failed to bag an award for his Dabangg act.
Interestingly, Salman even lost out the Best Actor (Popular Choice) to his archenemy Shah Rukh Khan, who won the award for My Name is Khan.

While Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won the Best Actor (Female) for Guzaarish, Vidya Balan won the Best Actress (Popular Choice) for her role in Ishqiya, reported SpiceZee.

Hrithik-AshAfter winning the Best Actor award, an elated Hrithik said, "This movie is very special to me because of its message. It is the suffering, weaknesses, and misery in our life that become the wind beneath our wings."

Thanking her mentor Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ash said, "This is a very special film for me. I've always had career milestones with Sanjay's movies - from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam to Devdas and now Guzaarish."

Meanwhile, Dabangg won 5 trophies- Best Film, Best Debut Female to Sonakshi Sinha, Best Debutant Director to Abhinav Kashyap, Best Song to Munni Badnaam Hui and Best Music to Sajid-Wajid, SpiceZee reported.
