Frank Gehry, a Pritzker-winning architect of such stunning and futuristic structures as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain and the Dancing House in Prague, has been named the Judge Widney Professor of Architecture at USC. Gehry graduated from the school in 1965 (he also holds 14 honorary doctorates from various other institutions).

In a statement, Gehry said that he carries with him today "many life lessons learned at 'SC."

Gehry has designed for college campuses before, including MIT and Bard College. He's also on the faculty at Columbia.
