L'Oreal has tapped actress Julianna Margulies, star of CBS' "The Good Wife," as the new face of their Revitalift line. [WWD] (Subscription required.)

Margulies was among celebrity browsers at an auction this week of 22 little black dresses designed by the likes of Givenchy's Riccardo Tischi and Jean Paul Gaultier. More than $100,000 was raised to support breast cancer charities in the U.S. and France at the auction, sponsored by Swarovski Elements at auctioneer Phillips de Pury & Co.'s New York location. Lisa Edelstein was there too, and chatted about this season's romance between Cuddy, her character on Fox's  "House," and Hugh Laurie's misanthropic Dr. House. [Wall Street Journal]

Beyonce and Tina Knowles have teamed up with airbrush makeup firm Temptu to create a limited-edition collection of temporary tattoos. Now you can change your tat as easily as you change your eye shadow or lipstick. We approve! [WWD] (Subscription required.)

Reebok has a new line of NFL-branded maternity T-shirts, so pregnant women can keep wearing their favorite team's colors even with a baby bump. "The View's" Elizabeth Hasselbeck appeared at the launch, though the mother of three children under 6 joked that she'll just use hers as a nightgown, figuring it will provide birth control simply by being unsexy. I don't know, Elizabeth. Some guys can get pretty fired up at the sight of those team logos! [People]

Forever 21's fall look book, featuring model Lisa Cant, is awash in '70s influences and includes faux fur, light denim washes and maroon leather jackets. [FabSugar]

The Kazanjian Red Diamond, one of the most spectacular gemstones ever found, has gone on display at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Not only is the 5.05 carat emerald cut red diamond rare, but it has one of those mysterious, storied pasts involving miners in South Africa, diamond brokers and Nazis. [T Magazine]

L'Oreal hosts a luncheon with Diane Keaton at Mr. Chow's

"It's a good day anyway, but it's a great day because of this jacket," joked Diane Keaton, modeling her newest wardrobe addition, a form-fitting black leather Rick Owens jacket. "L'Oreal bought this for me -- isn't that amazing?"

The actress and L'Oreal spokeswoman was seated amongst a small group of beauty and fashion editors Thursday afternoon for a press luncheon at Mr. Chow's in Beverly Hills -- part of the promotional swirl for L'Oreal's new Paris Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition moisturizer, which is intended for very dry, mature skin.

Keaton, 64, may be mature, but her skin looked radiant (a prerequisite for spokesmodel-dom, I suppose). And clad in the sublime Owens jacket, wide-brimmed black hat, pencil skirt, glasses and ankle boots, she also looked stylish in that studious, classic Diane Keaton way.

The actress chatted ably about architecture (she's currently working on an architecture book), lamenting the recent loss of great architecture magazines including Metropolitan Home and Western Interiors ("It's so sad they're all going") -- which led to a robust group conversation about the future of magazines and the Internet.

When the dialogue turned to fashion, Keaton said she prefers structured garments as opposed to drapey pieces, noting, "You can't have the sad-sack body with droopy cotton. You have to have the perky body."

The actress, who's been a face for L'Oreal for three years, started work on the two-day commercial shoot for the Paris Age Perfect moisturizer Friday at Smashbox Studios in Culver City. When I asked what she likes most about being a spokeswoman for the company, Keaton's answer was typically good-humored. "I like the fact that it's for older women," she said, "And I like the free product."
