School of Global Affairs and Public Policy

The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) prepares its graduates to take the lead in shaping the future of their nations and the world at large, with a strong belief in the interaction of international and public affairs, an unwavering commitment to ethics and the rule of law and a recognition of the unique role the media plays in shaping public policy.

GAPP’s three main academic departments in law, public policy and administration, journalism and mass communication and five research centers including the Center for Migration and Refugee Studies (CMRS), The Cynthia Nelson Institute for Gender and Women Studies (IGWS), The Kamal Adham Center for Journalism Training and Research, Middle East Studies Program (MESC), and Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud Center for American Studies and Research, offer students unique opportunities to develop a comprehensive overview of the strategic issues that are of great concern to world citizens today.
