Virtual Presence Post (VPP) Lille continues our engagement with Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Picardie. Formerly the site of an American Presence Post (2003-2008), Lille remains a prime location to take advantage of opportunities for the U.S. Government to be involved in a developing region with a European focus. Lille is a central entry point for U.S. products into the European market. The VPP’s mission, working with our partners, is to support American business, to explain American policy and society, and to build bridges of greater understanding and friendship between the people of the United States and the people of the regions of Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Picardie.
