The December 1963 hit "I Want to Hold Your Hand" paved the way for Beatlemania to explode in the United States when they arrived in New York for their first American tour on February 7, 1964. The Beatles were an English rock group from Liverpool who produced a variety of hit songs and albums between 1962 and 1970. From 1962, the members of the band were John Lennon (rhythm guitar), Paul McCartney (bass guitar), George Harrison (lead guitar) and Ringo Starr (drums). All good things come to an end though… The Beatles broke up in 1970.
