The 7th Annual Women of Innovation Awards Gala

Register now for the Connecticut Technology Council's largest event. Fifty women in technology fields and high school and college students studying in various technology disciplines from across Connecticut will be honored the evening of March 31st at the Aqua Turf in Southington. Attend this event and meet innovators, entrepreneurs, role models and leaders in the technology, science and engineering fields. The event will close with the announcement of this year’s eight category winners, selected from among the finalists. Approximately 600 guests are expected.

Skillproof Report on Connecticut IT Jobs

February 2011 - Employers in Connecticut showed more interest in technology workers in January. The year began with a 3.7% increase in job opportunities supporting optimism which had been voiced by economists and news outlets in December. While there is no reason to celebrate yet, the development in January was another positive sign. Employers in Financial Services, HiTech and IT Services stepped up demand.

Marcum Tech Top 40, Class of 2010

Marcum LLP and Connecticut Technology Council Announced Marcum Tech Top 40 Winners. Alexion Pharmaceuticals was named Connecticut’s Fastest Growing Technology Company.

Connecticut Tech Companies were honored for growth (as measured by revenue growth over four years). Over 300 attended the event on 10/28at the Oakdale Theater to learn more about these dynamic companies and network with the tech community.
