Managing Across Boundaries

As byproducts of globalization, an increasing array of transnational challenges from WMD proliferation and the global drug trade to contemporary human slavery, small arms trafficking, and counterfeit intellectual property have become so widespread they threaten to overwhelm the capabilities of even well-intentioned governments to mitigate their destructive effects. Managing Across Boundaries seeks to develop partnerships to address these issues, and has recently achieved considerable success by directing international security assistance to meet these human security and development challenges.
