Student administration

This section provides a guide to the student administration centres at the University of Sydney.

Student self-administration

The MyUni student portal provides information and access to online services for currently enrolled students. Log into MyUni to change your address, vary your enrolment, print your class timetable, view fee information or find your exam seat numbers and results. You can also link to your student email account and the online teaching sites (eLearning and Blackboard).

To find out about University IT services including student email, computer (access) labs, internet usage and printing, or to ask about your username and password (Unikey), please visit Switch.

The Student Centre

The Student Centre assists with matters relating to admissions, enrolments, HECS and domestic fees, class timetables, examinations, results and graduations. The Student Centre also issues documents including Academic Transcripts, letters and proof of enrolment.

If you are unable to complete your enquiry or self-administration task online, you can visit the Student Centre in person on Level 3 of the Jane Foss Russell Building (open 9am–5pm, Mon–Fri) or make an enquiry by phone or email. You can also access Frequently Asked Questions.

International Office

The International Office (IO) provides advice and assistance relating to academic programs and visa regulations for international students, as well as administrative services including application, admission, fee payment and enrolments. To make an enquiry in person, visit the International Office on Level 4 of the Jane Foss Russell Building (open 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri).

Faculties

Each Faculty has a student administration office (Faculty Office) which assists with administrative matters specific to your degree course. Contact your Faculty Office for information about course requirements (course advice), applying for a leave of absence, credit for previous study or special consideration; and to vary your enrolment (if you cannot vary it online). Most faculties also have individual Schools and/or Departments that can assist with discipline specific questions (e.g. School of Mathematics and Statistics).

Students enrolled in the Faculty of Health Sciences can contact Student Central for information about course requirements, enrolment, examinations, graduations and Academic Transcripts. Visit them at Student Central Office, Block F, Cumberland Campus (open 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri).

Student Affairs Unit

The Student Affairs Unit is responsible for various student affairs including the students at risk program, student discipline and appeals against academic decisions. For further information about student affairs please visit the Student Affairs website.
