-- The celebrity baby boom continues. Victoria Beckham, Jane Krakowski and singer Jewel are among the latest. And then there's Natalie Portman, who is sporting a new engagement ring as well as a baby bump. We only care here at All the Rage because of all the chic maternity styles we'll get to see since smart, stylish women no longer try to "hide" it. Your morning fashion and beauty report: Beauty trends, datebooks and man bags

Emma Watson

We can't stop reading Top 10 or Top 5 or "best" lists for 2010 (and there's plenty of evidence in today's report). So let's kick off the morning with mention of BellaSugar's "Biggest Beauty Moments" of the year. Sure, we appreciate celebrity fragrances and makeup collaborations. But our favorite is the pixie cut. Please see above. [BellaSugar]

Before smart phones, before Microsoft Outlook, schedulers across the world spent the week between Christmas and New Year's Day filling out their new datebooks. And apparently, some of us continue to cling to the datebook tradition. If you're searching for one, InStyle lists its top picks for 2011.

Sure, the rain in Southern California is stressful, but imagine what it's like in Norway right now. We're thinking it's probably quite cold and folks might very well do anything they can to stay warm. But that hasn't stopped Oslo Fashion Week (Feb. 14-20) from banning fur. Perhaps Norwegians have mastered the art of layering. [The Cut]

If you are craving a makeup fix, we can always point you in the direct of Sephora. What's new? The "Sephora Collection Palette Color Play" ($30 will buy you eye shadows, blush and two lip colors), which seems to have been inspired by Shopbop’s “Faces of Fashion” lookbook. [WWD, subscription required]

You may be under the impression that All the Rage tilts toward the female reader. And with all this discussion of datebooks and fur and eye shadow, we can see how you might have acquired that impression. But we are here to tell you that we embrace the world of men and their appearance! To that end, we'd like to recount the Wall Street Journal's top men's style trends for 2010:  The "Mad Men" effect (think skinny ties), man bags, plaid and tweed, Korean designers and Chinese sneakers. So, gentlemen, there you have it. [WSJ]

Cindy Crawford greets her fans in Glendale to promote her skincare line

105208532MP005_Cindy_Crawfo "I've been a fan of hers for a long, long time," said Eva Aldana, a Glendale resident near the back of the long, snaking line to meet Cindy Crawford on Thursday night at the Sephora store inside JCPenney at the Glendale Galleria. "I just want her autograph."

The supermodel was on the premises to meet and greet fans in promotion of her beauty line, Meaningful Beauty. Dressed in a gauzy purple top and dark jeans, Crawford signed autographs and chatted with fans about skincare.

"I like connecting with fans or customers and hearing what they have to say," said Crawford, tucked away in a back room of the department store before facing the throng. "You usually get at least one 'aha' moment, where you say, 'Oh, we need to do that.' I like that part of it."

Crawford, who created the anti-aging skincare line with her longtime Paris-based dermatologist, Jean-Louis Sebagh, said the products "started out kind of selfishly."

105208532MP007_Cindy_Crawfo She explained, "As a model, my job was to show up with a clean slate.... I wasn't a party girl, I didn't smoke, and I ended up taking care of my skin.... Dr. Sebaugh and I had become friends. It wasn't that hard for me to get to Paris twice a year since I was traveling so much. But then I got married and had kids and didn't travel so much, and I kept joking, 'Can't we bottle this stuff?' When I decided not to renew my Revlon contract, it was our opportunity to do something. I feel like I have incredible access that I can share with people."

But of course Crawford's status as a beauty icon had more to do with the assembled fans  on JCPenney's first floor than the supermodel's products.

"I think she's beautiful," said Luisa Gonzales, a Hollywood resident who was walking through the store and decided to join the crowd. "I was just shopping and heard, 'Wow, Cindy Crawford!'"

Your morning fashion and beauty report: 'Project Runway' judges make 'toughest decision' ever. Now you have to decide on a Halloween costume.

Arunway

"Project Runway" closed out its season Thursday night with judges making what host Heidi Klum called the "toughest decision in 'Project Runway' history." After much debate over the merits of the three remaining finalists -- Gretchen Jones, Mondo Guerra and Andy South -- judges named Jones as the top designer, saying the 28-year-old Oregonian's collection was the most "sellable" and the most on-trend. I'm pretty sure we'll be hearing more from all of them, though. [CBS]

"What Not to Wear" returns Friday night for its eighth season on TLC. If you haven't seen it, it's worth a look. The basic philosophy, according to Los Angeles Times' television critic Robert Lloyd, is that there are no ugly women, only ugly clothes, and by changing your clothes you can change yourself. The episode begins at 9 p.m. PDT. [Los Angeles Times]

I love it when Halloween falls on a weekend. More time to get into the spirit; more opportunities to wear costumes. Some women I know plan to start Friday and change costumes daily (or maybe even twice a day) through Sunday. We know that one of this year's popular looks will be Snooki of "Jersey Shore." But what, you may be wondering, will Snooki wear? Reports are that it's -- drum roll -- a pickle costume. A short, tight, sexy pickle costume, of course, complete with a light-up, pickle-shaped scepter. [WWD]

Meanwhile, Ellen DeGeneres plans to start the weekend by going on-air Friday dressed as Snooki's trademark pouf -- that's right, she's going to be a big fluff of hair. [People]

If you're still looking for costume ideas, Heidi Klum has tons of them for couples and for kids. Some pretty creative stuff. She and husband Seal once decked themselves out as a snake-wrapped apple (Heidi) and blond-wigged Eve (Seal). [StyleList]

Celeb designer of the day: Mariah Carey plans to launch her first "lifestyle" line on HSN Nov. 29. It will feature jewelry, footwear and fragrance. [WWD]

Your morning fashion and beauty report: Sephora launches Smartphone app; Jennifer Aniston channels Barbra Streisand for Harper's cover; Lindsay Lohan stars in Marc Ecko campaign

Jennifer Aniston looks classic and cool in Harper's Bazaar in September, done up as Barbra Streisand circa 1960-something in a photo spread wearing things such as a Derek Lam jersey dress, Harry Winston drop earrings and a short sleek 'do (above). The photos feature Aniston recreating classic Streisand looks from the past. Jen, this blogger (for one) likes the look way better than those seminude perfume ads you were shooting recently. On the cover (at bottom), the modern-day Aniston keeps us in touch with today's look. [Harper's Bazaar]

Ecko says he cast Lohan because the public is fascinated with her. [People]

Tokidoki celebrates its new cosmetics line with Sephora

Toki Street wear and accessories brand Tokidoki is famous for its Japanese-influenced cartoon graphics. And now it's using its playful irreverence to brand a beauty collection.

The L.A.-based company hosted a luncheon at the Mondrian Hotel on Thursday to toast its new cosmetics collection created in partnership with ubiquitous beauty retailer Sephora. Guests (including Lisa Ling) were introduced to the line — which features eye-popping pigments encased in even more vibrant packaging — with the help of makeup artists holding court at a few small makeup stations.

"We had done a small collection with Smashbox in the past, and we've always wanted to have our own cosmetics line," said brand co-founder Poonah Mohajer. "I saw that Kat Von D had come out with a line with Sephora — the first time Sephora had partnered with someone — and I said, 'We have to call Sephora.' And they were like, 'Where have you been?' It was amazing."
