I live in Chris Smiths district. I am not sure why he would vote this way . His district other than Trenton tends to lean center-right. I think he made a huge mistake and will suffer the consequences on election day.

NY loses 5% of its population each year as it is, and as unemployment goes above 10% (which it will shortly), that rate is going to accelerate.
