Cycle Tour along the Canal du Midi (2007)In 2009, two years after our actual
cycle tour,
I had the idea to write a report about the cycle tour Turid and I
enjoyed
at the Canal du Midi and in the Pyrenees. Unfortunately through the
Pyrenees I
cycled alone because Turid had left for home. At my old age I can get
one
week of extra holiday. (popularly called senile-week) Turid, who is so
young, had to go back to work. The inspiration for this cycle tour we
had
from the Trento Bike Pages where we read the reports of cyclists who
had
already cycled along the Canal du Midi. I have split my report in two parts:
Part one: Two cyclists along the Canal du Midi, to Carcassonne and Albi. Part
two: One cyclist through the Pyrenees, along the Mediterranean and the
Canal du Midi.  |
