Help

Officials in Peru have declared a red alert after an outbreak of dengue fever in one Amazonian province.

Medics say 11 people have been killed and more than 10,000 have been infected.

The health minister says the strain of the virus is much stronger than anything his country has encountered before.

Dominic Kane reports.
