Miley Cyrus -- as Justin Bieber -- says salvia is LEGAL on SNL's 'The Miley Cyrus Show'

Miley Cyrus let herself be spoofed on "Saturday Night Live" this past weekend on the recurring "The Miley Cyrus Show" sketch -- but she posed as Justin Bieber while doing it.

Cyrus, who hosted the variety show Saturday by singing her monologue and pretending to be Lindsay Lohan, let the writers poke fun at her in stride as they took on her semi-nude Annie Leibovitz photos, Disney grooming roots and that bong-smoking scandal.

"She was up for anything," cast member Kristen Wiig told MTV News. "That's always, to me, what makes a host fun to have around. They'll make fun of themselves or how the media perceives them. She was up for anything, which was so great."

But Lohan didn't seem to think so. The embattled actress even wrote a letter to "SNL" creator Lorne Michaels because she was upset the show allowed Cyrus to tease her. (What a poor sport. Can't one child star make fun of another?)

The highlight, however, was Cyrus dressed up as an eye-shadow-wearing Bieber on "The Miley Cyrus Show" segment opposite Vanessa Bayer.

"It's a Mexican standoff if the Mexicans were tiny, talented geniuses," Jason Sudeikis said in character as always-doting daddy Billy Ray Cyrus.

Bayer, an "SNL" newbie, all-too-convincingly mimicked Cyrus' toothy smile and loud, nasal voice to blood-curdling annoyance levels. And Cyrus effectively parodied Bieber's hair flips, crotch grabs and ultra-laid-back interview style.

Here's some of what they did (CAPS added for blood-curdling emphasis):

Fake Miley: WAIT A MINUTE, JUSTIN BIEBER, DID YOU CUT YOUR HAIR?

Real Miley as the Biebs: Yeah, you know, it's an image change. I also do the middle finger now.

Fake Miley: SO YOU'RE GROWING UP. LIKE ME ... DOING SALVIA! DID YOU KNOW I SMOKED SALVIA?

Real Miley as the Biebs: You know, there's no reason why you wouldn't. Because it's TOTALLY LEGAL, YO!

Point made, Miley. Point made.

Jennifer Aniston and her smart 'sex tape' [Video]

Jennifer Aniston got a crash course in "Internet sensation" on Monday: The actress has a new commercial circulating as part of her endorsement deal with SmartWater.

In the clip, some Web pros coach the star on how to go viral via the use of animals, lip-syncing, crotch kicks and even the gold standard: a sex tape.

Aniston is charming as she cuddles puppies, whips her hair and promotes a relaxed self-awareness. And, let us not forget, promotes the bottled water.

Check out the video above.

Just where does 4-year-old Suri Cruise's stylist find trendy pacifiers?

Suri Cruise uses trendy pacifiers A new photo emerged this week of Suri Cruise, and, before you ask, yes, she was dressed better than you. The takeaway of the photo is this: Suri, apparently, likes to suck on a pacifier while surrounded by paparazzi. The daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise is also nearly 5. Those colliding facts sent bloggers into two equally obnoxious spirals: the breathless baby fetishist what-does-this-mean-for-the-future ballyhoo and the bemused mock-fashion-police analysis.

"Suri Accessorizes Lipstick With Pacifier at 4!" one headline shrieked.

"Her clothes have earned her a reputation as a little fashionista," Us Weekly snarked, "but Suri Cruise's latest accessory seems a few seasons old."

Day-care dreckitude, indeed.

Anyway, we called around to parenting experts to see if we should be crafting our own hysterical blog about this issue. The answer? Sorta. I guess.

"Most parents of 5-year-olds would be embarrassed to have their child seen in public sucking a pacifier because of well-known health and dental health concerns," says Julie Hanks of Wasatch Family Therapy. "Either Katie isn't aware or she doesn't care what people think."

Hanks did note that binkies do tend to emerge in young children during times of stress. And, while, yes, age 4 may be too old for a pacifier, being shutterbugged by a stranger probably isn't the most relaxing way for a pre-kindergartner to spend an afternoon.

Jim Parsons, Lee Pace to make Broadway debut in 'The Normal Heart'

Jim Parsons and Lee Pace to star in 'The Normal Heart' on Broadway

Jim Parsons of "The Big Bang Theory" and "Pushing Daisies'" alumni Lee Pace will be making their Broadway debuts as they join the cast for the HIV/AIDS drama "The Normal Heart."

Parsons, the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning funny man who plays uber-genius Sheldon Cooper on the CBS sitcom, will take on the role of early activist Tommy Boatwright, according to Playbill.

Pace, who recently appeared in "When in Rome" with Kristen Bell, will play closeted activist Bruce Niles. He'll also appear onscreen alongside Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner as Garrett, a vampire from the American nomads coven, in both installments of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn."

Ellen Barkin, John Benjamin Hickey and Joe Mantello have also been cast in the Joel Grey-directed play, set in 1980s New York, in the early years of the epidemic.

Previews of "The Normal Heart," which is loosely based on playwright Larry Kramer's life, begin April 19, with the 12-week run starting April 27.

Charlie Sheen is fired — bring on the moral turpitude!

Charlie Sheen was fired Monday from "Two and a Half Men," Show Tracker reports, with the production company saying only, "After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on 'Two and a Half Men' effective immediately."

The letter of termination sent by attorney John W. Spiegel to Sheen's lawyer, however, pretty much reads like the best celebrity blog post ever, leading off with a statement likely to draw a "Duh! Winning!" response from the actor in question: "Your client has been engaged in dangerously self-destructive conduct and appears to be very ill."

TMZ has the letter, which in 11 pages of awesomeness cites the points in Sheen's contract his bosses contend he has violated, backed up by quotes out of the actor's mouth. For example, saying that he'd come back next season "but not with the turds they have in place" is cited as refusal to work under the terms of his current contract. His public celebration of cocaine use — "I was banging seven-gram rocks, and finishing them, because that's how I roll" — is included in the section mentioning the legal concept of moral turpitude.

Moral turpitude! How often do you get to use that in a sentence?

There are of course the nuts-and-bolts allegations that Sheen had missed rehearsals and can be seen in outtakes not hitting his marks and not remembering his lines — plus the dude lost about 20 pounds over the holidays. Aspen, Las Vegas, the Plaza Hotel and that "extremely public divorce from Denise Richards" made the cut, as did the two-day house party that put Mr. Tiger Blood in the hospital in January and sparked his short-lived "in-home rehab" attempt.

Warners' move was "so silly and so transparent and ... it's so juvenile," Sheen told "Access Hollywood" on Monday. "It is the work of infants. It is the work of silly infants and it's just — if this is what it had to come to, to get me out of those silly shirts, then so be it. So maybe I'll wear one, just on the final day when I go and remove all of their bazillions."

Sheen said heard the news via "a text or something. ... It's just deplorable, and they should be ashamed of themselves!”

Um, yeah, so back to the letter: Like any good blog post, it has its own "related" material attached: There are 10 pages of links to stories published since Feb. 24 — including the "Sheen's Korner" videos the actor spewed over the weekend. To which we can only say, "#Winning!"

Not shocking, given the vastness of Sheen's recent PR strafing runs, is the fact that even a 10-page list isn't long enough to capture the full extent of the mayhem: There's no mention of the "Saturday Night Live" parody "Duh! Winning! With Charlie Sheen," and we were saddened to find the Ministry's coverage missing from the fun. In the interest of boosting your personal turpitude level, we've included those links below, along with the "SNL" video."

As for the interview remix at the top — try getting that out of your head.

Daniel Craig dons drag, is interrogated by 'M' about gender equality

Daniel Craig has donned a sundress, clip-on earrings and a blond wig as James Bond in support of Tuesday's 100th anniversary of International Women's Day.

In the video, Craig stands expressionless in a suit looking straight into the lens as an off-camera narrator recites a litany of statistics illustrating injustices faced by women. And who might the holier-than-thou narrator be? The one and only Judi Dench as "M," the 007 character she has portrayed for more than a decade.

The actor was commissioned for the two-minute clip by Equals, a British coalition of organizations that work together to celebrate holiday on March 8 annually.

About halfway through the clip, M asks, "For someone with such a fondness for women, I wonder if you've ever considered what it means to be one?"

Craig then walks out of frame and comes back dressed in drag — or as the organization puts it, "quite literally, in women's shoes." As the statistics get harsher, he removes the wig and continues to stare off into space.

Sorry, ladies. The dress stays on.

'Last Comic Standing' finalist Mike DeStefano dies

Comedian Mike DeStefano, a finalist on the most recent season of "Last Comic Standing," died Sunday of a heart attack, his rep confirmed Monday to various media outlets. He was 44.

Punchline magazine had a revealing -- and (warning) a very profanity-filled -- interview with DeStefano during the run of the NBC show last year.

Asked which comics he'd want in the room for the last or the best performance of his life, DeStefano referenced his friend Greg Giraldo, the "Last Comic Standing" judge who died in September a few days after an overdose of prescription medication.

"In LA, just waking up to the sad news about Mike DeStefano. He helped so many people. I'm glad he was my friend," Jim Norton, another comic on DeStefano's list, tweeted Monday.

The blunt-talking DeStefano, who was a drug counselor before getting into comedy, had overcome heroin addiction and coped with the loss of his wife to AIDS. He'd been HIV-positive since the 1980s, writing for Poz in 1998 about being a "long-term nonprogressor" and "not fitting in with the AIDS community."

"Last Comic Standing" was a departure from the norm. "Guys like me don't do shows like that -- guys like me don't even attempt that," he told Punchline

Justin Bieber tweets 'I miss you' to girlfriend Selena Gomez

Biebergomez_2panel Justin Bieber misses his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, the pop star tweeted Sunday.

Call it a public display of affection for the digital age.

Gomez, the Disney darling who stepped out with the Biebs recently at the Vanity Fair Oscar party, is in Hidalgo, Texas, while Bieber is on tour in Europe.

"I miss all of y'all," she tweeted back.

So, who are these "y'all"? Well, Bieber didn't single out Gomez in his tweets. He sent "I miss you" messages to four other friends, Ryan Butler, Shaz Comers, Scooter Braun and Wilson Warren. Still feeling special there, Selena?

He then went tweet-happy and posted several lines from rapper Drake's music.

The hashtag "#drakelines" began trending soon after, proving once again that Justin Bieber and his fans have a terrifying amount of influence on Twitter.

Usher's Canadian-bred mentee, who made headlines for cutting his signature hair and selling the locks on EBay for charity, also decided to make another 'do-related decision.

"Im not shaving for a month so you all can see my mustache... im pumped," he wrote on the micro-blogging site.

So we have to ask: How much do teen-idol facial-hair clippings go for on EBay these days?

'21st Century Girl' Willow Smith wins new-artist NAACP Image Award [Music video]

Kimberly Elise and Tyler Perry at the NAACP Image Awards Willow Smith is the kind of chick who knocks you off your feet, or so she says in her "21st Century Girl" music video that dropped Friday. And it's hard to argue with that logic.

On a night when Tyler Perry ruled the roost, the kid won an NAACP Image Award for outstanding new artist (beating Nicky Minaj and Bruno Mars, among others), is set to star in a remake of "Annie" and has a recording career clicking along, all at the tender age of 10.

She was in the company Friday night of fellow winners Usher, Mary J. Blige and John Legend and the Roots, to name a few, though Alicia Keys' "Un-thinkable (I'm Ready)" beat Willow's "Whip My Hair" for outstanding video.

Some more 2011 Image Award film winners of note: Halle Berry won for her "Frankie & Alice" performance, and the movie won for indie film. Denzel Washington was recognized for his turn in "The Book of Eli" -- besting Willow's brother Jaden Smith, who'd been nominated for "The Karate Kid."

Perry's "For Colored Girls" was named best film, and Perry also won the Chairman's Award in honor of his journey from difficult beginnings to a spot on Hollywood's A-list.

In the television group, "Tyler Perry's House of Payne" won for outstanding comedy series, with comedy lead-acting honors going to Vanessa Williams for "Desperate Housewives" and David Mann for "Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns."

'Mars Needs Moms' movie premiere: Seth Green, Joan Cusack, Berkeley Breathed

Seth Green and Clare Grant at the Mars Needs Moms movie premiere

Mars Needs Moms movie premiere There's life on Mars, and they want their mommies -- or more accurately, they want Earth mommies, like the one voiced by Joan Cusack in the new movie "Mars Needs Moms." And they're willing to steal 'em.

Seth Green, who voices Milo, a boy who comes to the rescue when his mom is abducted by aliens, stole onto the red carpet with wife, Clare Grant, in Hollywood on Sunday for the animated Disney flick's premiere.

Dan Fogler, Elisabeth Harnois, Tom Everett Scott and Seth Robert Dusky were among the cast members on hand at the El Capitan, along with brothers Raymond Ochoa, Robert Ochoa and Ryan Ochoa, who voice Martian hatchlings. Also spotted: actress Bella Thorne and singer Cody Simpson. Click the pics for more photos from the red carpet.

Berkeley Breathed of "Bloom County" comic strip fame, author of the book on which the movie is based, brought wife Jody, son Milo and daughter Sophie. Producer Robert Zemeckis made an appearance also, with wife Leslie. And at the after-party, director and screenwriter Simon Wells was caught smooching his co-screenwriter.

Fortunately, Wendy Wells is also the director's spouse.

"Mars Needs Moms" opens Friday.

Demi Lovato thanks fans for support during 'darkest time of my life' [Video]

Demi Lovato posts a video thanking fans for their support.

Demi Lovato posted a video Monday thanking fans for their support during her recent stint in a treatment center and saying she is "excited to get back to work."

"I can't tell you how much light you guys brought into my life in probably the darkest time of my life," said the "Sonny With a Chance" star, who looked healthy and happy. "Without you guys, I wouldn't be here today." She said she read every tweet, every trending topic, all the fan mail.

If comments we received at the Ministry were any indication, there was a ton of radiant fan support for the Disney star.

One thing Lovato did not do was get any more specific on what her reps in November described as some "emotional and physical issues" that made it necessary for her "to get her life in order."

She went into treatment in November after abruptly leaving the Jonas Brothers tour in South America; around Christmas, the attorney for backup dancer Alex Welch, whom Lovato allegedly punched while on tour, said that a settlement had been reached between the performers. Though many rumors have swirled, reps have consistently denied any substance-abuse problems and insisted that Lovato's time in an Illinois rehab facility was not to be called "rehab."

"The journey I have been on has been very, very difficult over the past few months," Lovato said in the video, which was taped at her home and promoted last week on the website Cambio. "I was dealing with issues that I know not only girls just my age but of all ages are dealing with."

So she knows, but we still don't -- and we must admit it's killing us just a little bit. However, she hinted that she won't stay mum forever: "I hope to one day raise awareness of everything so that I can help people too, just like you helped me through this rough time," she said.

Lovato returned from treatment at the end of January.

Mike Huckabee on pregnant-out-of-wedlock Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman Nothing like a little sound-bite tango to take the edge off of an Oscar win -- Mike Huckabee made headlines this last week for comments about actress Natalie Portman, specifically regarding her and fiance Benjamin Millepied getting pregnant while unwed.

On Monday, the will-he-or-won't-he 2012 presidential prospect went on Mike Medved's radio program to discuss his new book, and used Portman as a reference in discussing single mothers in the United States.

"People see a Natalie Portman who boasts, 'We're not married but we're having these children and they're doing just fine. ... I think it gives a distorted image. It's unfortunate that we glorify and glamorize the idea of out-of-wedlock children," Huckabee said.

The former Arkansas governor's book leads off with a chapter titled "The Most Important Form of Government is a Father, Mother, and Children."

In the days after that interview, Huckabee learned what happens when you say stuff about Natalie Portman.

The comments went wide, almost universally perceived as a diss, prompting Huckabee to post some follow-up remarks on his website Friday.

"Natalie is an extraordinary actor, very deserving of her recent Oscar and I am glad she will marry her baby's father. However, contrary to what the Hollywood media reported, I did not 'slam' or 'attack' Natalie Portman," he wrote.

"My comments were about the statistical reality that most single moms are very poor, under-educated, can't get a job, and if it weren't for government assistance, their kids would be starving to death. That's the story that we're not seeing, and it's unfortunate that society often glorifies and glamorizes the idea of having children out of wedlock."

(For the record, the Christian Science Monitor notes, statistics show that while families headed by a single mom have a higher poverty rate than families headed by a single dad or a married couple, the majority of single-mom households do not fall below the poverty level.)

Portman remained mum. We'd love your thoughts, and can we just say -- how about a week of peace for the best actress Oscar winners after they take the prize?

Let us not forget that Sandra Bullock had only a precious few days with her gold statue before, well, you know

David Arquette fine after car accident (dragon's blood comes in handy)

David-arqette-dragons-blood David Arquette is fine after getting in a head-on car accident in Beverly Hills on Friday -- and, who knew, it appears he might be related to Charlie Sheen in some way.

"I got into a car accident but I'm fine," Arquette said Friday afternoon on Twitter. "Luckily I have dragon's blood running through my veins. Haha Thank you for all your concern."

This dragon's blood revelation, of course, comes the same week as Sheen's admission that he actually has tiger's blood. Our B-positive blood is suddenly looking so -- inadequate. Not to mention at a distinct disadvantage in a jungle brawl.

The 39-year-old actor swerved into oncoming traffic while he was trying to avoid another car around 2 p.m. Friday, said TMZ, which had a picture of him lying on the grass nearby after the crash. His Cadillac was pretty munched up in front, and the actor was taken in an ambulance to a nearby hospital. The accident happened in the 600 block of N. Doheny Drive near Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills, according to KABC.

Arquette and wife Courteney Cox have been separated since October.

One last thing, though: Arquette's first tweet about the accident read, "Remember to wear your seatbelt -- wish I was."

We're going to assume he was joking. Or else we'd have to slap him upside the head.

'30 Rock' dream of Bill Clinton appearing in its 100th episode dashed

Tina-fey-bill-clinton Looks as if Bill Clinton won't be joining the ranks of famous "30 Rock" guest stars any time soon.

Tina Fey, creator and star of the NBC show, had Clinton on a short list of dream guests for the sitcom's 100th episode, airing April 20.

"They hoped he would appear next week to shoot the episode," a show insider told Page Six. "They included him on the call list, but it didn't happen."

The column contacted a rep for Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's husband, who basically said the ex-prez didn't get any say in the matter.

"The request was made and immediately denied without asking him," the mouthpiece said.

Sadsies, as Clinton's former Vice President Al Gore has appeared, along with a slew of notables including Matt Damon, Jennifer Aniston and Oprah Winfrey.

'Harry Potter' star Emma Watson collaborates with fashion house Alberta Ferretti

Emma Watson collaborates with Alberta Ferretti "Harry Potter's" Emma Watson is taking a high-heeled step into the world of high fashion as a collaborator for the Italian fashion house Alberta Ferretti.

The former face of Burberry and new face of Lancome honed her design skills at People Tree, a fair-trade British brand, and will soon launch a five-item eco-friendly line for Ferretti called Pure Threads by Emma Watson.

"I'm pleased that a luxury brand such as Alberta Ferretti has decided to create ecological clothes," the 20-year-old Brit told Women's Wear Daily. "I believe this is a big step forward for all of the international fashion industry, but also an important step for an increased sensitivity to the problem of ecology."

We have to say it: Little Hermione Granger is all grown up.

Watson, who is also filming "Perks of Being a Wallflower" with "Percy Jackson" star Logan Lerman, has always expressed an interest in fashion. The Brown University undergrad fittingly received Elle magazine's Style Icon Award last month. She's traipsed around parties, premieres and award shows in true "it" girl fashions designed by Valentino and Hakaan, pictured above.

Pure Threads will be available online March 21 -- and we certainly hope this goes over better than the Ungaro upset did for Lindsay Lohan.

In other wizarding news, Daniel Radcliffe, the actor who has played Harry Potter, will be taking a hiatus from his stage role in "How to Succeed in Business" this summer to promote "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- Part II."

The ultimate edition of the eight-film series will premiere in Trafalgar Square on July 7 and opens worldwide July 15. Culture Monster has the full scoop.
