Buddy Rush Comes to iPad and Receives First Major Update
Team Sollmo, the game development group of app and game publisher Company100, Inc., released a comprehensive update for the free-to-play, single-player RPG Buddy Rush. The update, which went live earlier, includes a variety of gameplay and balancing updates, new content including characters, items and levels and iPad compatibility. With the addition of iPad compatibility, users can play Buddy Rush on iOS devices and Facebook for a cross-platform experience. A casual role-playing game (RPG) with dungeon-crawler characteristics, Buddy Rush allows players to build a party out of computer-controlled characters created by their Facebook friends. Vampire Saga: Pandora’s Box is a glorified picture hunt game for the iPod Touch/iPhone. Not only will you be trying to pick up objects that blend into the background, but you’ll also experience a story that is said to be developed in the tradition of Hammer horror movies and H.P. It’s obvious when I say that games take a lot of time and resources. While iPod/iPhone apps can get away with lesser quality by providing a low price range, they still need to pull themselves out of the fast-moving sea of mediocrity that fills the iTunes App store. Jim & Frank Mysteries: The Blood River Files has virtually everything it needs to stand out: with a collection of sixty puzzles tied together with a story, decent music, visuals, voice work, and a low price point, it wouldn’t be any surprise to see it succeed. CGR News – PSP Phone Launch Confirmed
Classic Game Room presents the CGR News with Ray Carsillo. Today, Ray talks about how the confirmed launch of a PSP phone in April will shake up the handheld and mobile device industry. Teaming with Ericsson, Sony has been rumored to have been working on a game/phone hybrid and now it looks to be ready to go at the start of Q2 2011 in April along with an app that will allow you to play your PSN games on the phone. Ray also reads comments in regards to his Top 10 Games of 2010 list.
