A US war plane has crash landed in Libya
A US war plane has crash landed in Libya during a third night of allied air strikes against Colonel Gaddafi's forces.
The plane, which is British-based, came down in the east of the country, in rebel held territory. Both crew members are said to be safe.
During the night explosions and anti-aircraft fire were heard near Colonel Gaddafi's compound in Tripoli.
