"Sample the wit and wisdom of Jonathan Ross - film critic, social commentator, and mischief maker"
Jonathan began his media career as a researcher on the Channel 4 chat show Loose Talk. Various other documentaries and shows followed before he began working on Soul Train. It was while working on this show that he met another young and keen researcher, Alan Marke. They struck up a creative partnership and together came up with the working idea for what would later be called The Last Resort. Confident they hit upon a winning formula, Jonathan and Alan decided to set up their production company to make The Last Resort and in 1987, Channel X was born. In 2005, and for the second year running, Jonathan was awarded the prestigious Television and Radio Industries Club awards for Best Radio/Digital Radio Personality of the Year.
