Eric Anderson, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board
Eric Anderson is one of the leading entrepreneurs in the space industry. He has led the development of commercial human spaceflight and the space tourism industry since its inception, and is a true astropreneur (as coined by Wired magazine). Mr. Anderson’s vision is to open the space frontier to all private citizens which will then enable the development of space resources for the benefit of humanity. In the course of twelve years, Mr. Anderson has sold more than $250 million (USD) in spaceflights. His experience as a succesful entrerepneur and his knowledge of technology and aerospace applications provide PPI with unmatched perspective and guidance. In 1996, Mr. Anderson graduated magna cum laude from the University of Virginia with a degree in aerospace engineering. Ten years later, he received the University of Virginia Engineering Foundation Outstanding Young Engineering Graduate Award.

Miguel R. Forbes, Co-Founder and Board of Directors Member
Miguel R. Forbes is Forbes President of Television and Licensing.  In this role, he supervises the strategic creation and development of new business opportunities for the company through partnerships and acquisitions. These include Forbes-branded television projects and international licensees for the company’s worldwide local-language editions.  Mr. Forbes was instrumental in developing the partnership between Forbes and Fox cable television, which resulted in the launch of ““Forbes on Fox”” in May 2001. The program was immediately embraced by viewers and critics and remains the top business magazine show. Mr. Forbes has also Recent television ventures with the Travel Channel, A&E, Ovation and Fine Living Channel. Mr. Forbes has initiated include a number of Forbes specials produced for E! Entertainment Television that aired in 2007, which ultimately attracted 47 million viewers. Mr. Forbes graduated from St. David’s in New York City and Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts. He has a B.A. in English and an M.S. in Publishing from New York University.

Richard Garriot, Board of Directors Member
Richard Garriott is recognized as one of the innovation leaders in the ever-changing world of entertainment software and was the 6th private citizen to fly into space. Along with developing the popular Ultima computer game series, Garriott established the video game publisher, Origin Sytems. In 2008, Richard launched aboard the Russian Soyuz TMA-13 spacecraft to the International Space Station and became first offspring of an American astronaut to fly into space. Richard has held a passion towards the space industry and has invested in various related ventures such as the Zero-G Corporation, X-Prize and Spacehab. Richard is currently chairman of Space Adventures, Ltd., the world's premier private space exploration company. Over his career as a computer game designer Richard has been honored with numerous awards including Entrepreneur of the Year from Inc. magazine and Computer Gaming World's 15 Most Influential Industry Players

John Kohut, President and Chief Operating Officer
John Kohut has led major defense acquisitions of multinational command and control systems, fighter aircraft, and advanced weapons. He transformed a failing defense telecommunication system development into a global operational success. In both government and the aerospace industry, he brought large projects from the drawing board into production by focusing on innovation, customer satisfaction and teamwork. Whether leading a $1.8B international development program or a space commercialization "skunk works," Mr. Kohut produces solutions that work. Bringing this ethos to renewable energy, he is dedicated to Planetary Power's vision of delivering a world of abundant, clean energy that is economically and environmentally sustainable. Mr. Kohut is a graduate of the University of Connecticut (BSME), Florida Institute of Technology (MSCS), the Defense Acquisition University and the Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN).

Joe Landon, Chief Financial Officer
Joe is an experienced manager and engineer with an extensive background in technology development and new venture finance. Previously Joe launched and managed Space Angels Network, a national investor group focused on financing early-stage aerospace companies. Joe led Space Angels Network’s company screening, due diligence, and investor relations. Concurrently, Joe managed a 65-person sales team at McMaster-Carr, a national industrial supply distributor that is a key supplier to the renewable energy industry. Previously, Joe worked as a payload systems engineer and project manager at Boeing Satellite Systems where he contributed to the design, manufacture, test, and operations of several commercial communication satellites. Joe holds a BS in Engineering-Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, an MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Roger Lenard, Chief Technology Officer
Roger is a former US Air Force fighter pilot and a distinguished physicist and engineer. He recently held the roles of Master Systems Engineer for NASA’s Ares 1-X program and Principal Member of the Technical Staff, Sandia National Laboratories. Roger also has been a Special Advisor to the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Advanced Systems and Concepts. His experience also includes roles within the Strategic Defense Initiative Organization. He is an academician with the International Astronautical Academy (IAA), a Commissioner on the Advanced Technology Panel of the IAA, and a member of the International Council of Systems Engineers. Roger brings diverse and in-depth experience in program management and advanced technology development to the PPI team. Roger has written over 150 technical papers and holds numerous patents and technical advances. He holds a BS in Physics from Portland State University and an MS in Chemical Physics from the University of Puget Sound.
