Kazemi Selected to All-International Squad

NetScouts Basketball has announced its All-International Teams and Rice University sophomore forward Arsalan Kazemi (Iran) has been selected to the website's All-International First Team.

Kazemi averaged 15.2 points and led Conference USA with an 11.0 rebounding average this season. Additionally, he shot 52.5 percent from the field and 72 percent at the free throw line.

In two seasons at Rice, Kazemi has scored 797 points and snared 623 rebounds.

Last week, Kazemi was named to both the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) all-district teams. He was also selected to the All-Conference USA Second-Team.

NetScouts Basketball's All-International Team was led by Player of the Year Nikola Vucevic, USC (Montenegro). Along with Kazemi and Vucevic, also selected to the All-International First Team were Matt Dellavedova, St. Mary's (Australia), Jorge Gutierrez, California (Mexico) and Andrew Nicholson, St. Bonaventure (Canada).

Comprising the All-International Second Team was Matthew Bryan-Amaning, Washington (England), Gilberto Clavel, Sam Houston State (Puerto Rico), Vlad Moldoveanu, American (Romania) and Trastan Thompson, Texas (Canada).
