Lots of adjustments to the 18-49 ratings for Sunday night due to news coverage/President Obama speech interruptions about the killing of Osama bin Laden. Because of interruptions and semi preemptions, its not worth paying much attention to even the final numbers.

2.7 is very good for The Simpsons,
When will the Monday ratings be out?
ouch @ housewives
Are these the final numbers then, or are those still to come?
@Stefan
In about an hour.
ABC better re-air B&S…
half a demo point for B&S… It’s done. Probably running out of social issues to shove down the world’s throat, anyway. It’s a schame, because for the first 2 seasons the show had good comedy, in conjunction with the social issues, drama and its liberal agenda. At a certain point it became too serious for its own good. The continuing lost of cast members didn’t help none either.
Just as I suspected, B&S got killed by the adjustments. Suprised Celeb Apprentice was adjusted so little.
via TV Guide:
Although an ABC rep said the network as yet has no plans to re-air its bumped shows, CBS and NBC will air repeats. CSI: Miami willl air Saturday, May 7 at 9/8c on CBS. Meanwhile, Celebrity Apprentice will air Friday, May 6 at 8/7c on CNBC, followed by Next Great Restaurant at 10/9c.
Guess what network doesn’t give a shit about its shows?
Ouch … I expected DH to go up, however I still don’t trust these numbers. I think without the break-ins and late broadcast on the west coast the rating would have been up … I’m sure ABC will take these ratings with a grain of salt.
@DSC
Ignoring a bunch of other nonsense you wrote, I’ll just concentrate on one: THE SHOW DIDN’T AIR ON THE WEST COAST! You can’t call time of death based on one weak airing that one half of the country didn’t even get to see.
Same with CSI: Miami.
Wow!…incredible how bad did in the final ratings:B&S (down 0.5) to 1.6 and CSI:Miami: (down 0.3) to 1.8.I guess this 1.8 of CSI Miami is the lowest rating not just in the season,also of the serie.
Ding dong, the H is dead, which old H, the Wicked H!…
Here’s hoping it doesn’t recover next week when we don’t have to deal w/ Obama interrupting for Osama…
As for Next Great Restaurant, correct me if I’m wrong but that’s a series high, right? If so, you can stamp it as renewed, because it has all the qualities the nets look for in unscripted filler…
@ Milk Shake Zula (Chuck vs. Mister Shak)
Yes thats a series high for ANGR, but it was also its series finale, so…
@Gustavo … The CSI Miami ratings are precisely the reason why these ratings should be thrown out … these numbers are BS and are not accurate. Nielsen should acknowledge this and end this fuss.
@MSZ
Next Great Restaurant tied the series high from the premiere. I hope it’s renewed!
Happy that CSI Miami was down… hope it’s a trend…
Ouch, ouch ouch!!! for brothers and sisters … that’s a series low isnt it? It seems the show is wrapping up anyways story-wise, I dont believe the rumours that the writers have written a cliff-hanger in. The show is clearly done for, they cant keep all the cast at once in a single episode, clearly due to lack of money!
Its really stupid to gloat. I doubt any of these ratings will have any effect on whether a show gets renewed or not.
Lets see how The Good Wife tonight against increased competition.
DH is sinking lately so much!.I’m wondering if next season could be the last.Cause earlier in the season:DH was doing around (3.3-3.7),now should be consider (3.0) as a glory day.I guess looking the tendency:Next season can be in the range of average(2.4-2.7).To low for DH!.
It looks like it (last two eps were 2.3 and 2.2, down from 2.7 for last of six straight from February/March), although we might see it bounce back into the 2s w/out pre-emptions. But if it can’t get past about a 2.3-2.4, then CBS renews Suspect Behavior and Good Wife (along w/ one Friday drama, unless they decide to gut that night completely).
Gustavo
These ratings really don’t matter at all. CSI: Miami was preempted in the same areas as B&S and Housewives aired after the news coverage on the West Coast, when most people probably weren’t in the mood to watch an entertainment program after getting the big news. I don’t think any of the networks will consider Sunday’s ratings one bit when deciding what gets renewed/canceled at the upfronts.
