SAN ANTONIO -- A freight train smashed a driver's car Tuesday morning near Nacogdoches and Green Mountain.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday. Police said the driver and his passenger headed east on Nacogdoches when they missed a turnaround.

The car plowed right into the railroad track and stalled. They decided to call a private tow company.

About 40 minutes later, a train came through and smashed the BMW. Neither the driver or passenger suffered injuries.
