If Google Chrome really wants to take over the market they need to provide a 'privacy' option that does not store information on users.

You can use Breadcrumbs Privacy Software, it will solve your privacy problems

I'm not really concerned with my privacy issues. It's just the principle of Google releasing massive amounts of information to foreign governments and our own that bothers me. Thousands have been locked up in China after Google's disclosure of search and tracking information to the Chinese government. So just Google's search engine is invasive enough. A Google based browser is "1984."

Here are my extensions:

AdBlock (I know why HP didn't include this one.)
Google Translate (Allows you to force a translation of the page when Chrome doesn't automatically.)
goo.gl URL shortener (Click it to get a short URL for the page.)
Custom Greasemetal scripts (Chrome natively supports Greasemonkey scripts, though I think they're called Greasemetal for Chrome. I have a few scripts that I made that stop the annoying habits of certain websites.)

Have you made any scripts that will disable ALL animated gif's on a web page? FF has AniDisable, which is a must have AFAIC. Animated gif's drive me freaking nuts.
Chrome does support many Greasemonkey scripts natively, but not all of them. I ran into a couple that would not work properly until I installed TamperMonkey. Now they work fine.
This "GreaseMetal" I'm not familiar with...

I love Chrome, but I'll wait for the stable release. I can't stand crashes and glitches.

where are adblock plus and noscript? I guess there is no such thing for chrome if this list is considered the "best"?

no script is awesome
I leave it off most of the time
but when I have to go to a site that I know is bad
I go incognito, nosript, flashblock, adblock
haven't been infected yet with those running,
even though I often have to go to known bad sites

I'm really on the fence as to whether Chrome or Firefox is better. The amount of overlap between the two is collosal.

Chrome is awesome, if you have a ton of RAM.
I always have lots of tabs and windows open and used always have issues with other browsers
but with Chrome, no problems
but you do need tons of RAM (8GB on my laptop)
other browsers I dont' think can even properly use that RAM
