Court arrests eight suspects in woman's death probe

The 11th Ankara High Criminal Court has arrested eight suspects while releasing five others. The suspects stand accused of forcing a woman into prostitution, seizing her three houses and torturing her to death.
 

Fifteen people were taken into custody after a large-scale raid by Ankara Smuggling and Organized Crime Directorate units. They were interrogated on Monday in Ankara by prosecutors tasked with prosecuting suspects in terrorism and organized crime cases.

After the interrogation, the prosecutors released two suspects while referring the remaining 13 to the court.

The court ruled to arrest eight and release five.
