Top Videos of 2010 (So Far)

Our top videos of 2010 list is littered with the biggest names in music. In a year that's seen plenty of industry veterans releasing huge albums, it's not a stretch to say the top videos mirror the 2010 charts. But a little thing called Bieber-mania has thrown a wrench into everything, helping us all realize the power of tweens. So, without further ado, we present our top videos of 2010, so far.

'Why Don't You Love Me'
We kick off our top videos of 2010 with this near-five-minute gem. 'Why Don't You Love Me' is the ninth video from Beyonce's 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' album and starts with a 40-second clip before the music starts presenting Beyonce as '50s housewife, B.B. Homemaker. The main set of the video is a house owned by a wealthy 95-year-old man who allowed the use of his home and collectible cars for the video shoot.

'Over'
Paying homage to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' attire, Drake contemplates life with two different women in this video. 'Over' opens with Drake reflecting on Roc Nation artist Rita Ora, who portrays a "good girl," and another who is portrayed as dangerous. Of the video, Drake said "It's a struggle between the purities of my past life and what this new life has to offer."

'Rude Boy' (Live on Sessions)
It may seem "rude" to include our Sessions with Rihanna in our list of 2010's top videos, but when you have a bonafide shredder like Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme playing guitar for her, it's hard to deny this clip's awesomeness. Rihanna's outfit is also one to admire.
07
'Tik Tok'
Her debut single, the video for Ke$ha's 'Tik Tok' may seem like a random party video with scattered concepts, but it's actually quite personal to the singer. The gold Trans Am used in the video belongs to Ke$ha, the video was shot in her old neighborhood, and the final party scene in this top video was shot at a friend's house they called the "Drunk Tank."
06
'California Gurls'
Katy Perry's answer to Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' 'Empire State of Mind,' 'California Gurls' makes the cut on our 2010 videos list because of it's creativity. Inspired in part by 'Alice in Wonderland,' 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,' and the board game 'Candy Land,' much of the set is decorated with cupcakes, ice creams, candy floss, lollipops, and Snoop Dogg as a king named "Sugar Daddy."
05
'OMG'
Featuring will.i.am, this video lives up to its title. Usher takes a moment to let the magic begin before he lets fly with the dance moves. While critics were tough on 'OMG''s heavy use of auto-tune, most agree the video lives up to the character and icon that Usher has become.
04
'Telephone'
Lady Gaga Feat. Beyonce
Clocking in at over nine minutes, 'Telephone' by Lady Gaga is easily the longest video on our 2010 videos list. Beginning where 'Paparazzi' left off, Lady Gaga is arrested for killing her boyfriend and is taken to a women's prison where she meets up with Beyonce. The two end up making their escape as this top video ends with the line, "To Be Continued..."
03
'Love the Way You Lie'
Eminem Feat. Rihanna
Starring Dominic Monaghan and Megan Fox as a couple in an abusive relationship, this top video also features Barbadian songstress Rihanna. Eminem's 'Love the Way You Lie' -- with a climactic ending where both Eminem and Rihanna sing in front of a house on fire -- became an instant viral hit, breaking the record for the most viewers in its first 24 hours on YouTube.
02
'Power'
Directed by Marco Brambilla, Kanye West insists this is not a "music video" in the traditional sense of the word; officially calling it the 'Portrait of Power' and tweeting that it's "not a video ... it's a painting!" Unlike the standard music video, 'Power' is only 90-seconds with a look that Brambilla describes as "kind of apocalyptic." Unfortunately for Kanye, when it comes to top videos, the man with all the power is a certain Canadian teen ...
01
'Baby'
Our top video of 2010 is an easy choice. 'Baby' by Justin Bieber and featuring Ludacris is the most watched video in YouTube history. Closing in on 300 million views, this Justin Bieber video is another tale of him trying to woo a fair maiden. We don't want to spoil the ending, but you already know he gets the girl, because, like our top videos of 2010 list, Justin Bieber never loses.
