Right-hander Neil Ramirez was named Texas Rangers Minor League Pitcher of the Month for April. Ramirez, who turns 22 next week, was 2-1 with a 1.39 ERA (4 ER / 26.0 IP) for the month of April. He tallied 34 strikeouts against nine walks with a .140 opponents' batting average (12-for-86) over five starts between Myrtle Beach and Round Rock.
Endy Chavez struck out in his first at bat Wednesday night - his first strikeout since April 28. But Chavez had the laugh last, tying the game with a three-run homer in the fifth and delivering a tie-breaking RBI triple in the 10th inning as the Express edged Tucson 7-5.

Reid Ryan announced Tuesday a television package for the 2011 season that allows the broadcast of 19 games throughout Central Texas. Beginning this weekend, Friday home games will be broadcast on YNN Sports, while Saturday home games will be broadcast on KBVO-TV.
