Barbara Walters Would Take Meredith Vieira Back on 'The View'
by PopEater Staff, posted Jun 5th 2011 10:00AM
Come next Wednesday, the great Meredith Vieira will be saying goodbye to NBC's 'Today' show -- but the longtime morning show staple could be back on TV very soon.
"Barbara [Walters] adores Meredith and would welcome her back on 'The View' in a second," a 'View' insider told PopEater's Rob Shuter. "Meredith returning home would be a great ratings boost and Barbara likes nothing better than ratings success even if it means asking one of the regular women to have a less active role."
Is Cheryl Cole Back In As 'X Factor' Judge? UK News Says So

Is Cheryl Cole back in as 'X Factor' U.S. judge? News of the World says so.
According to their report, Cole is expected to return to the judges' panel this Wednesday as auditions continue in New Jersey.
As we reported earlier, Cole is rumored to be working out her visa issues, and bossman Simon Cowell made a case to network Fox to keep her on, which means co-host-turned-judge Nicole Scherzinger will go back to co-hosting again.
Without comment from Fox or Cowell since news of Cole's dismissal broke over a week ago, speculation about why she was let go has ranged from fights, lack of chemistry with fellow judge Paula Abdul and a too-heavy accent for American audiences to understand.
But having already taped four audition shows with Cole, it was a production concern to have such a big switch-up so late in the game.

'Freaky Eaters' is Back -- The Experts Preview New Season, Plus an Exclusive Clip (VIDEO)
by Maggie Furlong, posted Jun 4th 2011 3:00PM
I always thought I was a picky eater ... until I watched 'Freaky Eaters.'
The TLC show is back for Season 2 (premieres Sun., June 5, 10PM and 10:30PM ET), but according to the show's experts, psychotherapist Dr. Mike Dow and nutrition specialist J.J. Virgin, the difference between Season 1 and 2 is night and day.
Last season, we met freaky eaters addicted to pizza, french fries and Coke. Now, that seems normal compared to this season's addicts. In the premiere episode, we meet Nikki, a woman obsessed with eating corn starch. Just plain corn starch. Up to 3,300 calories worth of corn starch a day, as a matter of fact.
The second of the premiere episodes will introduce us to Kelly, who's gained 150 pounds in the last 10 years because of her addiction to cheesy potatoes -- basically any kind of potatoes topped with melted cheese. See our exclusive clip of Kelly after the jump ...

'Jersey Shore' Season 4 Premiere Announced, Season 5 Confirmed
by Maggie Furlong, posted Jun 4th 2011 2:00PM
Attention guidos and guidettes -- there's more 'Jersey Shore' coming your way.
MTV has announced that Season 4 of their hit show will premiere Thurs., Aug. 4, 10PM ET.
They also confirmed that Season 5 is a go, beginning production next month back in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
The fourth season has gotten more press than any other, thanks to Snooki, The Situation and the rest of the gang filming in (and terrorizing) Florence, Italy. There have been reports of car accidents with cops, public fights and general shock and awe at the cast's unique brand of fist-pumping "Italian."
Italy can finally say ciao to their national nightmare when the cast returns to the Shore June 20.

'Glee' Star Naya Rivera Snags a Record Deal
by PopEater Staff, posted Jun 4th 2011 1:00PM
As resident McKinley High troublemaker Santana on 'Glee,' supporting actress Naya Rivera routinely steps aside for series standouts Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Santana's love interest, played by Heather Morris, to take the spotlight.
But now, the 24-year-old Californian is making a play for solo success: EW.com reports that Rivera has scored a record deal with Columbia Records.
Rivera is the third star of the hit series to go solo. 'Glee' castmates Matthew Morrison (Will Shuester) and Mark Salling (Puck) have already released their own albums -- while many fans of Broadway belter Michele remain hopeful she'll announce a record deal soon.
While portraying the Cheerios villain whose role grew substantially in season 2, Rivera has been a versatile vocalist on 'Glee,' rocking covers from ABBA to Amy Winehouse. But there's no word yet on the musical style she'll aim for when she enters the studio for her debut album.

First Look: 'Modern Family' Cast Visits 'Inside the Actor's Studio'
by Jean Bentley, posted Jun 4th 2011 10:00AM
The six adult leads on 'Modern Family' flew to New York to tape an episode of James Lipton's 'Inside the Actor's Studio' earlier this month.
The special is scheduled to air June 7 at 8PM on Bravo, but the network posted two clips showing us the hilarity in store for when we tune in next week. For example, the fact that Eric Stonestreet agrees with Jesse Tyler Ferguson's assessment that he's gay for pay, or the non-school-related adventures Julie Bowen had in Florence while studying Italian Renaissance Art during college.

Two Contestants Pass on Easy Money, Win Cars on 'Let's Make A Deal' (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Jun 3rd 2011 6:15PM
Two contestants resisted temptation for easy money today on 'Let's Make A Deal' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS) and it paid off. Host Wayne Brady put cash in their hands and tried to lure them away from a mystery choice, but they stayed put and each of the two contestants wound up winning a car.
Brady offered the first contestant, dressed as a policewoman, five hundred dollars to give up what was in the box. He kept increasing his offer, from $700 to $2000, but police lady kept the box and won a Toyota Yaris.
Brady got tricky with the next contestant, who was dressed as a farm girl, offering her 4,000 Brazilian reals for what was behind a curtain. The money would have been $2,371, but instead, she got a Chevy Aveo. We're guessing they learned their lessons from a couple yesterday that lost out on two cars by taking the easy money.

Man Wins Motorcycle, Car, and Ice Cream Knowledge on 'Price Is Right' (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Jun 3rd 2011 5:50PM
The next time Peter goes for ice cream, he'll now have the choice of taking his new motorcycle or his new car. Plus, he'll know a lot more about the ice cream he's about to eat. Peter won a motorcycle and a car, and also a trip to Florida to attend Ice Cream University, on 'The Price Is Right' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS).
Peter won the bike first by guessing between two prices on Double Prices. He made his way to the Showcase Showdown, where he passed on a showcase that included trips to Switzerland, Las Vegas, and a sports boat. The showcase he got included the Florida trip and a Dodge Challenger. Peter was off by almost $6,000, but his rival bidder's showcase was worth more than $43,000, leaving her $18,298 under. "I said it was a good showcase," said host Drew Carey.

'Clean House' Not Canceled, Just Moving to New York
by Chris Harnick, posted Jun 3rd 2011 4:20PM
Why is Niecy Nash tweeting that 'Clean House' has been canceled? According to a 'Clean House' publicist, the show is "alive and well."
When Nash was asked on Twitter if she would ever return to the Style Network series, she responded: "No :( its canceled."
On the contrary, said a 'Clean House' rep -- it's true the show isn't currently in production in Los Angeles, but that's because it's getting ready for a move to New York.
"After helping more than 200 families in the LA area, we are gearing up to begin filming the show in NY and give the East coast some much needed clutter clearing help," the publicist told AOL TV. "At the moment, we are not in production in LA, but focusing on pre-production in NY."
