I am amazed at the comments saying that she needs to stop flaunting her body and concentrat­e on acting class. I heard her speak in regards to the weight loss. She stated that she lost the weight to rid herself of that Kid/Disney image and so that she would be offered more adult roles that will challenge her acting ability. She stated that she was fine at her size which varied from a 10 to a 12 but she felt that society and hollywood had an issue with her being that size. Due to the pressure of society and hollywood; she made a dramatic change in her life and lost a lot of weight. It's sad that she has to conform to society and media standards although she did it so that can pursue her love of acting.

Dude, there are plenty of places to get stories on black celebs. Must you use MTO? I haven't read one story yet that wasn't either blown outta proportion or completely (& stupidly) bias :-/

I know it's only tinsel-tow­n stuff but come on! I know you can spare ONE of your writers for this.....

Good grief her PR flacks are realling flogging this "see how skinny Raven is?" to death. She's been slim for a while now. We know this because every other week HuffPo and other sites with gossip pages repeat the same informatio­n over and over, just with a new pic.

Yes, she's slim. Yes, she needs a stylist. Yes, she needs to have a better career, but simply inundating everyone with the same info oer and over doesn't do that.

Maybe she should take some acting lessons to get the kid-actor precocious­ness out of the way and learn her craft in away that will give her a long career as an adult.
