Wolfgang Gartner signed to Ministry of Sound? (Update: Yes)

When Pete Tong played 'Illmerica' a few weeks back we were a tad confused. Mainly because the song was released in October and he made some kind of reference of it coming back into popularity which is a bit peculiar. Then we came across this YouTube video on Ministry of Sound's future releases channel:

Here's the description of the video:

Wolfgang Gartner, probably one of the most talented producers out there at the moment, delivers a super banging smash 'Illmerica' to our shores in the UK from the US.

Not only is his production skills highly revered, but he is also an outstanding DJ in his own right. He is a Grammy-nominated American electro house producer and DJ.
In his short time producing music, a total of eight of Gartner's songs have held the #1 position on the Beatport Top 10 Chart. Gartner has performed at world-renowned dance music festivals such as Coachella 2010, Electric Daisy Carnival 2010, and tours extensively around the world.

In 2010, Gartner debuted as a featured guest on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix series, hosted by DJ/producer Pete Tong. And now his smash hit 'Illmerica' is ready to be unleashed and is certain to cause dancefloor mayhem!

Add to this the fact that 'Forever' is yet to be released here in the UK, we have come to the conclusion that Wolfgang Gartner has been signed to Ministry of Sound in the UK.

We're reaching out to Ministry of Sound for some kind of confirmation and we'll let you know the response.

Update: Ministry of Sound have confirmed they are releasing material from Wolfgang Gartner, and as expected 'Illmerica' is the first single, released June/July. More singles are expected later this year with an album next year.
