Ortronics to set up local office

ORTRONICS Inc, which manufactures structured cabling networking
products and flexible solutions, plans to open a new office in Kuala
Lumpur to serve as its headquarters for the Asia-Pacific region.

According to its Asia-Pacific president Peter P. Levenda, the new
office is expected to become operational by the first quarter of this
year, and will be used as the base for launching the company's
assault further into the Southeast Asian (SEA) market.

"With this new office, we hope to be able to gain about 10 to 15 per
cent share of the SEA market within the next three to five years," he
