Directions from Johannesburg and Pretoria, Gauteng, to Mantenga Lodge: Head towards Witbank on the N12 or N4. Pass Witbank and Middleburg, and take the R33 turn-off towards Carolina. On exiting Carolina stay with the R33 which turns right straight after the railway line. 41km further on turn left at the T-junction towards Warburton on the N17. This road leads directly to the Oshoek/Ngwenya border post. Cross the Swaziland border and continue straight on the MR3 highway, which bypasses the capital of Mbabane, and descends into the Ezulwini Valley. Take the first Ezulwini Valley off-ramp and cross the highway into Ezulwini on the MR103. Travel for approximately 7km until you will see the signage for Mantenga Lodge, Mantenga Craft Centre and Swazi Trails. Turn right here and travel for approximately 1 km further until another right turn which takes you past the Mantenga Craft and Lifestyle Centre Complex and 200m further on, straight into the gates of Mantenga Lodge.

Directions from Durban and KwaZulu-Natal to Mantenga Lodge: Take the N2 North towards Pongola. 20 Kilometres before Pongola, turn right towards the Golela/Lavumisa border post. Follow the road into Swaziland towards Big Bend (MR8). Travel past Big Bend and onwards for another approximately 75km until you will reach a T-junction. Turn left onto the MR3 towards Manzini. Continue straight through Manzini, until the Lobamba off ramp. Here take the fly-off left and then head left again crossing the Lusushwana River bridge. Drive past the National Stadium (to your right) and exit the next traffic circle at 1 'o clock.  At the next intersection, about 300m further on, turn right on the MR103. Cross the Lusushwana River again then after another 400m or so turn left at the 1st tar road (note: if you reach the big shopping centre you've passed the turning). 150m further on turn right and head uphill. After +/- 700m turn left on a smaller road, pass Mantenga Craft & Lifestyle Centre and then find Mantenga Lodge 200m thereafter.

Directions from Nelspruit and Mpumalanga to Mantenga Lodge:  From Nelspruit take the R40 road towards Barberton.   Just before Barberton, turn right onto the R38 road towards Badplaas. At Badplaas, cross bridge and turn left towards Lochiel. This is the R541.  Continue along this road until you will see a sign indicating a junction right turn towards Mbabane. Careful! This can be easily missed. Turn right here (staying with the R541) and continue uphill for another  18km, then turn left onto the N17 road towards Oshoek Border Post. This crossing, is 26km further on.   After the Oshoek/Ngwenya border the MR3 highway leads to Mbabane. Stay on the highway south towards Manzini.  At the bottom of the big descent, +/- 6.2km after the last Mbabane off-ramp, take the Ezulwini Valley off-ramp left, cross the highway (sign indicates "Hotels and Casino").  You are now on the Ezulwini MR103 road.  Continue for +/-  5km on the MR103 until signage for Mantenga Lodge, Mantenga Craft Centre and Swazi Trails takes you right onto a smaller tarred road called Mantenga Drive.  About 1km further along Mantenga Drive turn right again pass the Mantenga Craft & Lifestyle Centre and arrive 200m further on at the gates of Mantenga Lodge - welcome!
