When did you start playing soccer?
I started playing soccer when I was 7. This year will make 20 years.
What is your favorite thing about playing soccer?
My favorite thing about soccer is it’s a “team” effort… it takes all of us to be successful and also the fans.
What was your most memorable game experience?
Being the underdog in the Olympics and the WPS and still coming up on top.
What is something you always have in your soccer bag?
Espresso love gu.
What was your most interesting and fun soccer trip and why?
I would have to say Brazil; it’s such a beautiful place.
What's your perfect day off?
Sitting on my surfboard waiting for the perfect wave to catch or spending the day with the person I love.
Name a sports team other than Sky Blue FC that you can’t live without?
I go for the underdog team. Don’t really have a favorite.
What famous person most inspires you?
My father.
If you could only eat one food item/meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Poke (Hawaiian food).

Surely it took a lot of hard work to get to this level, what motivated you to keep working hard?
Soccer took me places I never thought I would go, seeing all the young kids in the stands cheering me on motivates me to become a better person, player and role model.
When it got hard, or you didn’t make the cut what did you do? What advice could you give kids about working hard and overcoming moments like this?
I almost didn’t make the Olympic team cause I was told I had a bad attitude and not in shape… I took that and used it as a fire to prove the coach wrong… I wasn’t going to let her or anyone stop me from accomplishing my goals and dreams since I was 5 years old… I went home and worked out and came back a different player…
When going through school and playing soccer at the same time, how did you fit all the pieces together (soccer, school, social life)
Being an athlete you had to have your priorities in line… school gave me an opportunity to play soccer…
What advice would you give to a young girl who dreams of playing in WPS one day?
If you have a big heart and your mind set on your goals and dreams anything is possible.
