Sydney Explorer tickets are valid for one day of unlimited use. You can hop on and hop off any Sydney Explorer bus during the day for any number of times.
Get off and catch the next one
This means you can have more time at any particular site that interests you and then continue your tour with the next available Explorer bus.
After the Sydney Explorer has completed its daily run, you can use your Sydney Explorer ticket on any government bus to a destination on the Sydney Explorer route if you missed getting on the last Sydney Explorer trip.
Explorer stops are prominently marked
Sydney Explorer stops along its route are prominently marked and painted red.
There are are a number of stops along the route, which normally takes in such places as The Rocks, Sydney Opera House, Mrs Macquaries Point, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Queen Victoria Building, Kings Cross, Chinatown, Sydney Fish Market.
There's a blue bus, too
There is also a blue bus called the Bondi Explorer which takes in a numbr of Sydney's more popular waterside suburbs and beaches.
You can buy tickets for either the Sydney Explorer or Bondi Explorer, or both.
The Sydney Explorer and Bondi Explorer used to be operated by the State Transit Authority of New South Wales but is now managed by CitySightseeing Pty Ltd.
