I Say: Call Obama's Bluff; Budgetarily & Racially

Most Conservatives have been saying and writing, consistently, that Obama's bluff should be called in terms of the debt ceiling. I say: let the government tank. Refuse to allow the debt ceiling to be raised. The government, clearly, simply cannot continue on its unbridled spending spree.

Conservatives said this in re Bush's TARP program. TARP = economic failure + no accountability. Conservatives said this about every iteration of Porkulus. Porkulus = economic failure + no accountability. As in: BILLIONS and BILLIONS of YOUR American Taxpayer Dollars WASTED. Because, as I wrote earlier: "I call American Taxpayers the New Niggers. You can be berated, cut, hurt, slashed, hacked, lynched, sacrificed -- and government simply doesn't much care. Purposely."

"80% of the people support tax increases," says Mr Obama. But he is delusional and a liar. He is a radical idealogue. How do you argue or attempt to reason with a soured mind such as this?

The answer is: you simply cannot. The bulk of the GOP just doesn't "get" this point.

Further, Mr Obama' admin and supporters have -- get this -- made two further illogical and nonsensical allegations:

• 1. No previous president has faced such a terrible hailstorm of disagreement;


• 2. It all stems from the fact that Mr Obama is a black man;

Except that Mr Obama is as "completely black" as I am completely Estonian. Mr Obama is "black" when it suits, and he is "other" when it suits.

Sheila Jackson Lee, a BLACK FEMALE Demorat Representative from Texas, says that, again, it all gets down to race:



Why is this president "different"?

And just exactly how many black Demorats currently exist in the US Senate?

Why, that would be none.

Lee is just another black apologist hack, by dint of Political Matching Melanin Necessity supportive of Racial Pimps and Poverty Pimps. Just another racist cheeseball in a female guise. With one radical exception: her melanin count doesn't quite match that of The One.

Let's go back just a bit, shall we? Remember when to "be black," you had to be really black? And if you weren't, you were a poseur? Questions were asked: "Is Obama actually black enough?" to satisfy hardcore blacks with wide noses, large lips, heavy accents, darker skins? Or would they simply hang their hats on what they were told? The answer "B" turned out to be correct.

Finally, Charles Krauthammer writes:

President Obama is demanding a big long-term budget deal. He won’t sign anything less, he warns, asking, “If not now, when?”

How about last December, when he ignored his own debt commission’s recommendations? How about February, when he presented a budget that increases debt by $10 trillion over the next decade? How about April, when he sought a debt-ceiling increase with zero debt reduction attached?

All of a sudden he’s a born-again budget balancer prepared to bravely take on his own party by making deep cuts in entitlements. Really? Name one. He’s been saying forever that he’s prepared to discuss, engage, converse about entitlement cuts. But never once has he publicly proposed a single structural change to any entitlement.

Let me summarize, if I might be so bold:

- Obama is a victim;
- Anyone opposing him is a racist;
- All will fall apart if The One doesn't prevail

If I could be any more plain in my evaluatory efforts, please let me know. I value nothing if not brevity, truth and clarity.

"Any Republican" Beats Barack Hussein Obama

From the Gallup poll:

PRINCETON, NJ -- Registered voters by a significant margin now say they are more likely to vote for the "Republican Party's candidate for president" than for President Barack Obama in the 2012 election, 47% to 39%. Preferences had been fairly evenly divided this year in this test of Obama's re-election prospects.

In the meantime, with regard to the biggest issue of the year, our national debt ceiling, Ex-Speaker Nancy Pelosi weighs in:

(CNSNews.com) – House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said she is “almost too busy” to continue listening to what is going on in the debt limit meetings at the White House with congressional leaders.

There are other more highly-pressing issues, to include cleaning her fish-tank and ordering a new wall sconce for the office.

And, finally, in a fit of pique our Mr Obama decided that simply walking away from a debt ceiling meeting was a proper concluding statement.

Anyone besides me wondering where the location might be of Mr Obama's "transparency"? And his "hope"? I know what the "change" still resides in my pocket, along with an abundance of lint.

The soldiers freed their compatriots and the tanker. The Russian

Navy Commandos moved the pirates back to their own (pirate) ship, searched

the pirate ship for weapons and explosives and then they left the ship and

exploded it with all remaining pirates hand-cuffed to it.

The commandos sank the pirate ship along with the pirates and

without any court proceedings, lawyers etc. That is, they used the

anti-piracy laws of the 18th and 19th centuries where the captain of the

rescuing ship can decide what to do with the pirates. Usually, they were

hanged.

I said and wrote this at least 25 years ago, and I say and write it now:

I could, obviously, also say and write that with regard to the fire services as well.

That stated, from NBC:

San Jose budget cuts aren’t hurting all businesses, and in fact, one group in particular seems to be cashing in on the city’s economic woes: prostitutes.

Prostitution has made a rapid comeback to San Jose street corners in the past few weeks, according to NBC Bay Area sources.

After police budgets were slashed July 1, San Jose PD’s Vice Unit was disbanded, said San Jose Police Department spokesman Jose Garcia. This meant that part of their job responsibility – cracking down on prostitution and brothels – was reassigned to the police department’s Covert Response Unit.

The CRU was originally responsible for narcotics busts in the area and despite the newly added responsibilities, the unit’s size increased by one officer. It now totals 14. Sources say the result has been an increase in illegal prostitution.

Two police sources told NBC Bay Area that prostitutes have even been traveling from as far as Oakland and Fresno to take advantage of San Jose’s less scrutinized street corners.

Another Fornicalia agency, Stockton PD, took big cuts recently. And with that came a rash of murders and shootings -- Mexican murders. Continuing still.

Stockton PD also had its own "drive-by" shooting on headquarters.

Evidence markers A and B now mark where two bullets struck Stockton Police headquarters Wednesday night.

At 8:50 p.m., six officers were in the back lot of the department on Market Street when they heard four or five rounds fired.

"They're trained, they know the difference between a firecracker and shots fired," says Detective Roseanne Clarke. The bullets were lodged between the first and second floors of the building. Based on trajectory patterns and the tall brick garage surrounding the property, those rounds were fired from westbound Highway 4. "It does not appear that it was a random act, but that it was actually intentional to hit our building," says Clarke.

At the same time, do you find that silly, stupid, frightening, fattening, illogical governmental programs -- locally -- are cut? Of course not! That would be unimaginable!

You want to cut cops? Be my guest. I've spent 40 years in law enforcement, seen and done it all, and I'm not far from retirement, perhaps another three years. I am clearly the exception in terms of lengthy career, and not the rule.

But I'll make sure I get every last dime due me within the law and contracts under which I operate. At this point I make a good six figures a year. It only took me 40 years to do so. And I'll protect my retirement with all my heart and soul. Because I was already paying $100,000 for a Fornicalia house in 1978 dollars "back then."

When I first started with the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Department in 1978, I made $5.97 an hour and was "represented" by the Operating Engineers union. They primarily negotiated for big equipment construction workers. Cops were a sad third party. I was quite not "cutting a fat hog" back then nor was my motivation for it extant.

I got shot at (three times), cut, stabbed, spat upon, engaged in numerous fights, literally saved 10+ lives (though not via CPR; I am 0-for-3 with CPR). I am, however, 1-for-1 in terms of shootings. And I survived that critical incident -- luckily -- when I was much younger. If you know me, you know that event; I wrote about it earlier.

I worked when cop cars had bench seats and 440 magnum engines. I worked when there were no portable radios and the only link you had with "cover" was back in your car. I worked when I carried a .357 Colt Python and had 6 in the cylinder and two speedloaders on the belt. And no more rounds. Daring officers carried another box of rounds in their cases. I was one of them. Most officers did not.

I don't have a molecule of guilt within me when I take my retirement. I've put up with bullshit that you, as civilians, cannot even remotely imagine. Except those in combat. Except that my combat extended for 15+ years. I've put up with PC bullshit and made Career Survival my point for living. You want a system? I know how to navigate that system. Further, I've done "babysitting" and "hand-holding" for my sufficient share of adults.

I am due every damned dime coming to me. I'm still employed as a cop, a supervisor.

And smiling still.

Obama: Never Raise Taxes In A Recession

Mr Obama wants to raise your taxes. And not by just a hair. He wishes to raise taxes by $1 trillion dollars. From The Weekly Standard:

In a 75-minute meeting Sunday night, President Obama once again demanded that more than $1 trillion in tax increases be part of any deficit reduction package attached to a vote on the debt ceiling. In the session, Obama rejected a Republican proposal to seek $2.5 trillion in spending cuts and reforms, and insisted on higher taxes on businesses and wealthy individuals.

Actually, the Associated Press (AP) says no, Mr Obama's tax hike would hurt low- and middle-class families:

Proposals under consideration include raising taxes on small business owners and potentially low- and middle-income families. You won't hear about that from Obama. Instead the president focuses on the very rich, and speaks euphemistically. Here are a few of the phrases the president has used of late to talk about what amounts to raising taxes for some:

-- "What we need to do is to have a balanced approach where everything is on the table."

--"We need to take on spending in the tax code."

--"The tax cuts I'm proposing we get rid of are tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires; tax breaks for oil companies and hedge fund managers and corporate jet owners."

--"You can't reduce the deficit to the levels that it needs to be reduced without having some revenue in the mix."

However, Mr Obama appears to be just a tad bit contradictory:

The specific (outside) question to Mr Obama: "Explain how raising taxes on anyone during a deep recession is going to help with the economy."

The specific answer by Mr Obama: "First of all, he’s right. Normally, you don’t raise taxes in a recession, which is why we haven’t and why we’ve instead cut taxes. So I guess what I’d say to Scott is – his economics are right. You don’t raise taxes in a recession. We haven’t raised taxes in a recession.”

Further, Mr Obama said: “We have not proposed a tax hike for the wealthy that would take effect in the middle of a recession. Even the proposals that have come out of Congress – which by the way were different from the proposals I put forward – still wouldn’t kick in until after the recession was over. So he’s absolutely right, the last thing you want to do is raise taxes in the middle of a recession because that would just suck up – take more demand out of the economy and put business further in a hole.”

Just a wee-bit-o-hypocrisy eh, Mr Obama?

Because if the debt ceiling isn't raised by the August 2nd deadline, the globe will collapse in on itself and life as we know it will end.

The same thing Mr Obama said would occur if we didn't pass each and every Porkulus Package.

I'm still here.

And so is our staggering debt.

Whither The GOP?

Make no mistake; DC Big Whigs plan to meet today in order to allegedly hammer out a deal on the budget in terms of the debt ceiling.

The results of the debt ceiling will, in quite the nutshell, decide if the GOP is to live or die.

Not in the next week, not in the next month or even perhaps in the next year. But if the Republicans fail to live up to their hoopla and Big Words from last November, the Republicans simply will not care, at all, for the results that they have gone out of their way to create.

Because the Right People, the Moral People, the Good People, the Builders, the Taxpayers, the Creators, the Contributors, the Realists, the honest-to-God Patriots, the Hosts --

-- they are rapidly running out of patience, blood and money.

Their US government has tapped every good vein time and again so that the Leeches are bloated. Hosts and Parasites. The Hosts are dwindling in numbers and the Parasites are increasing, as well as their demands.

And the Republicans continue to turn a deaf ear on the people that put the leadership of the House back into GOP hands.

Even Hugh Hewitt -- a rather amazingly-tolerant GOP'er -- writes:

In advance of Sunday's big meet on the potential big deal, the Washington Post runs "Lament for a Beltway Insider," which it chose to actually title "In debt talks, leaders pressured from below." (The online jump changes that title to "Progressives and tea party lawmakers pressure leaders on debt deal," but the point is the same --the leadership is being told by the party not to compromise.)

Which ought to leave Speaker John Boehner and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor two choices on Sunday if the president doesn't arrive ready to focus exclusively on cutting non-defense spending deeply.

The first choice is saying "no" and leaving when "revenue enhancements" or defense cuts are brought up a second time after firm rejection the first time.

Or saying "Time to consult the public so let's lay your outline out for consideration and input."

If a final "deal" is reached in secrecy on Sunday, the GOP will have lost and the GOP revolt against its leaders will have to begin.

And I couldn't agree more.

Mr Hewitt continues:

GOP volunteers and the Tea Party base --best consulted via Tea Party Patriots and not some D.C. lobbying group claiming to be the Tea Party-- expect the House GOP to win this round and the fall spending battles as well. The House has a veto over whatever happens and the House reflects the last election and the American people's demand --loud, large and sustained-- that the federal government be dramatically scaled back.

They did not vote to erase the home mortgage interest deduction, a disastrous idiocy cooked up by people with zero understanding of home values in the United States. Such a move would instantly devalue every house in America by more than 10%, further adding to the already steep drop in home values that has kept the recessionary feeling clamped into place.

They did not vote to eliminate the tax deduction for church giving or any kind of charitable giving.

They did vote to slice away vast parts of the federal bureaucracy, but they didn't vote to cut the Pentagon. More cuts to the Pentagon endanger the country and will set off a revolt within the GOP quicker than any tax hike.

They would accept raising the retirement age and indeed cutting benefits a tiny bit.

They would cheer the adoption of Paul Ryan's plan or any other plan that preserved medicare for current enrollees but made changes for those a decade or more away from retirement.

Medicaid should be handled by the states these voters say, and capped.

These are the obvious choices favored by a large majority of Americans. The House leadership has to insist on them or walk away.

But the base and historical problem with this is that the GOP -- still -- runs its Messaging Program as primarily subsumed and background, like bad static on a cheap radio. It, even in Prime Power, fails to understand that the power it possessed or possesses is MEANT TO BE WIELDED in all its naked and raw forms, just like the Demorats.

I don't know if I speak for many of the readers of my blog, but I would like to see a GOP coalescence the likes of which has been heretofore unexperienced and unprecedented. I would like to see the logic of the GOP trotted out with insistence, clarity, brevity in all media forms, and those forms hammered forth in stridence, with consistency and unity.

The problem is, with but a handful of exceptions, that there tends to not be a "dime's worth of difference" between the two parties due to their inculcation with corruption, arrogance, imperialism, exclusivity, elitism.

Back-slapping and drinks-all-around at DC watering holes.

"Fuck the public," they say. "We have ours; they'll never get theirs."

As I wrote on April 6th of this year:

Whilst some Republicans manage to excoriate the TEA Party, it is the TEA Party's philosophy that can save this nation now, not backslapping by both sides over drinks and larfs at Bullfeathers, Hawk N' Dove or the Capitol Lounge. Because they know: you are being fleeced.

To that I can only reply, inimically with initial timidity and building temerity:

A Mexican killer is dead, having been executed by the State of Texas, after losing his appeal (another 5-to-4 decision) to the US Supreme Court.

Humberto Leal Garcia was executed by lethal injection for the rape and murder of a 16-year-old girl despite appeals of senior diplomats, military officials and prominent politicians who said the execution could jeopardise the lives of Americans.

Shortly before Leal was led into the death chamber in Huntsville the supreme court rejected by 5-4 an appeal from the White House to block the execution on the grounds it was in breach of an international convention governing the treatment of foreigners who are arrested and would therefore do "irreparable harm" to America's interests.

Let's be candid here, shall we?

Humberto Garcia has been in the United States since he was two years old. He's as much of a Mexican national as Roman Polanski. He purposely chose to stay in the country, live here for years, and then break our laws. He somehow, simultaneously, didn't mind making his money here, living here, enjoying our rights and protections. Then, somehow, magically, mystically, he wants to fall back on being a Mexican national after raping and murdering a 16-year-old girl; he was found with her blood on his hands, his clothing.

The Associated Press portrayed it this way:

HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) -- Texas executed a Mexican citizen Thursday for the rape-slaying of a teenager after he and the White House pleaded in vain for a Supreme Court stay, saying he was denied help from his home country that could have helped him avoid the death penalty.

In his last minutes, Humberto Leal repeatedly said he was sorry and accepted responsibility.

"I have hurt a lot of people. ... I take full blame for everything. I am sorry for what I did," he said in the death chamber.

"One more thing," he said as the drugs began taking effect. Then he shouted twice, "Viva Mexico!"

There you go, Mr Garcia. "Viva Mexico!"

At first blush, I should care to point out: before 9-11, Islam wielded a minimalist hold on our country. Only after 9-11 did we become "guilty" -- though we somehow, mystically, magically became SHORT at least 3,500 New Yorkers on that date. And wrecked a number of expensive buildings. Somehow.

Never Underestimate The Stupidity Of A Jury

Ever.

This has been proven to me (as I have been in law enforcement for 35+ years) again and again and again -- and the stupidity of jurors will continue for any number of reasons. This should come as, in truth, no shock whatsoever given the temper of the times and precedent.

Further proof of gullibility, doltishness, the sluggishly-moronic is the fact that the jury took only 11 hours to come to this abortion of a verdict.

In my opinion, Casey Anthony killed her baby, duct-taped her baby, and threw her baby into a swamp. Plain and simple. It was madness unleashed but, on the other hand, it was brilliant -- not quite knowingly, though, I submit.

On Tuesday, Casey Anthony was found not guilty of murder in the first degree regarding her daughter Caylee Marie Anthony (video here). The defense team clapped and her relatives gave thanks. Casey Anthony is 25 years old. Today.

When the crime occurred, Casey Anthony was three years younger. Caylee's skull was found in a Florida swamp in 2008, along with other body parts, wrapped in duct tape. Her daughter, Caylee, was two years old when she was killed (08-09-05 to 06-16-08). Caylee "disappeared" in June of 2008.

Let us not forget that Casey Anthony purposely decided to not report her daughter missing. Caylee's skeletal remains were discovered December 11, 2008, six months after she was reported missing by her grandmother, Cindy Anthony.

Plus this:

On July 13, 2008, while doing yard work, Cindy and George Anthony found a notice from the post office for a certified letter affixed on their front door. George Anthony picked up the certified letter from the post office on July 15, 2008, and found that his daughter's car was in a tow yard.^[7] When George picked up the car, both he and the tow yard attendant noted a strong smell coming from the trunk. Both later testified that they believed the odor to be that of a decomposing body.^[8] When the trunk was opened it contained a bag of trash, but no human remains.^[9]

Caylee Anthony was reported missing to the Orange County Sheriff's Office on July 15, 2008,^[3] by her grandmother, Cindy. During the same call, Casey Anthony acknowledged to the 911 operator that Caylee had been missing "for 31 days."^[10][11] A distraught Cindy also told the 911 operator "There is something wrong. I found my daughter's car today and it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car."^[12]

Casey Anthony faces a one year penalty exposure behind four misdemeanor counts of false statements to law enforcement. The judge could decree her already "time served."

Juries are ignorant and jaded; defense attorneys know this. And defense attorneys have been pushing, clearly, over the years, that unless a case plays out just as it does on CSI (or any of its myriad spin-offs), there is no evidence.

The brain-dead amongst us concurs.

I was, a number of times, subject to the Theatre that is a trial. And Theatre it is -- bordering on insane Kabuki Theatre and rarely interrupted by judges because there are so few that are courageous. They predominantly quiver in fear of being overbearing. I proffer, in prime, Judge Lance Ito -- the most publicly cowardly of judges in recent years. The most courageous of jurists I've ever witnessed? Multiple times? Clearly, Sacramento Superior Court Judge, the Honorable Gary E. Ransom.

Accidental or not, Caylee Anthony is dead and Casey, her mother, will soon be a free woman.

What happened? I submit this, in my opinion: Casey was 22, young, ignorant, self-absorbed due to her parents' fluffing-up of her self-worth. She had a child. She wanted to party. Her child committed some kind of behavior that pissed her off. She reacted. Her child was dead. She had to hide her dead child. I had two specific cases with my time in Detectives that dealt with those situations and motives.

Still and all:

Despite the facts trotted out, juries don't want to draw lines. They lack the capability to do so. Further, they ask: "This could be me. Would I want to condemn me?" They choose not. And they choose the simplest of defensive doubts. Because they are, at heart, simple-minded.

No more complicated than this.

Juries are stupid because, of course, if you haven't figured out how to relinquish yourself of jury duty. . .

There is a rather special Hell reserved for Casey Anthony. She either killed her daughter in cold blood or accidentally. And then did her best to shove her association with her daughter away. Completely away.

"Obama Is Still Economically Fatuous," Says His CEA Staff Report

Obama promised us the world. And what have we gotten? Double-digit unemployment, home sales numbers still plummeting, home values dropping, a $14.5 TRILLION DOLLAR deficit (see the US Debt Clock in real time here) and engagement in four concurrent wars -- two of them started by The One himself: Libya and Syria.

The Obaka Admin released its Seventh Quarterly Report, which -- if actually read -- displays a staggering series of facts.

Primary Fact: the "stimulus" is now causing the economy to shed jobs.

Written by the president's very own White House Council of Economic Advisors (three experts hand-picked by Mr Obama), the report (released this past Friday, July 1st) was noted by The Weekly Standard, which wrote:

The report was written by the White House’s Council of Economic Advisors, a group of three economists who were all handpicked by Obama, and it chronicles the alleged success of the “stimulus” in adding or saving jobs. The council reports that, using “mainstream estimates of economic multipliers for the effects of fiscal stimulus” (which it describes as a “natural way to estimate the effects of” the legislation), the “stimulus” has added or saved just under 2.4 million jobs — whether private or public — at a cost (to date) of $666 billion. That’s a cost to taxpayers of $278,000 per job.

In other words, the government could simply have cut a $100,000 check to everyone whose employment was allegedly made possible by the “stimulus,” and taxpayers would have come out $427 billion ahead.

Furthermore, the council reports that, as of two quarters ago, the “stimulus” had added or saved just under 2.7 million jobs — or 288,000 more than it has now. In other words, over the past six months, the economy would have added or saved more jobs without the “stimulus” than it has with it. In comparison to how things would otherwise have been, the “stimulus” has been working in reverse over the past six months, causing the economy to shed jobs.

Yes yes yes, Bush started it with TARP. Which provided nothing but debt. However, Mr Obama stepped in and ratcheted debt up to a rate and danger heretofore unprecedented in the history of the planet.

A final damning paragraph:

All sides agree on these incriminating numbers — and now they also appear to agree on this important point: The economy would now be generating job growth at a faster rate if the Democrats hadn’t passed the “stimulus.”

And trust me, there's another one on the horizon. Just you wait.
