Andhracafe.com- Chennai, Nov 28 (IANS) Vidyasagar's new album 'Sivappathikaram' is doing quite well. With the film expected to do well, the album may do even better in the course of next few weeks.

The top five Tamil albums are:

1. 'Sivappathikaram' (Vidyasagar): 'Atrai Thingal' sung by Madhu Balakrishnan and Sujatha is the toast of the album, which has a mix of folk, melody and 'dappan koothu'.

2. 'E' (Srikant Deva): This album is one of the biggest successes of Srikant Deva. 'Theepori Parakum' sung by Tipu and chorus is especially popular.

3. 'Thiruvilayadal Aarambham' (D. Imman): Imman is slowly becoming one of the music directors to watch for. 'Ennamma Kannu' by Karthik and Ranjith is a huge hit.

4. 'Rendu' (Imman): Surprisingly the album has all the songs of Harris Jayaraj from 'Minnale'. Yet, Imman's songs stand out.

5. 'Vallavan' (Yuvan Shankar Raja): 'Loose Penne' sung by Silambarasan is still a rage though the film is slowly on its way out of the theatres.
