CBS PLACES FIRST IN HOUSEHOLDS AND STRONG SECOND IN VIEWERS TO FOOTBALL-DRIVEN FOX

CBS Has Five of the Top 10 Programs of the Week

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" Is The Most Watched Entertainment Program of the Week

"Joan of Arcadia" Places First in Its Time Period in Viewers and Adults 18-49

"Two and a Half Men" Posts Series High Adult 18-49 and Adult 25-54 Ratings

CBS was first in households and a strong second in viewers in the week ending Jan. 18, week 17 of the 2003-2004 season. CBS has been first in both viewers and households in all weeks this season without major sporting events on the competition. ?
For the week in viewers, CBS (13.16m) was a very close second to FOX (13.63m) and topped NBC (11.62m) and ABC (7.83m). Season-to-date, CBS (13.13m) is first in viewers followed by NBC (10.71m), ABC (9.68m) and FOX (9.62m). ?
In households, CBS (8.6/14) was +4% ahead of FOX (8.3/13), +15% ahead of NBC (7.5/12) and +69% ahead of ABC (5.1/08). Season-to-date, CBS (8.5/14) has a +20% advantage over NBC (7.1/12), +35% ahead of ABC (6.3/10) and +39% ahead of FOX (6.1/10). ?
CBS was first or second in viewers every night last week, for the second consecutive week. CBS was first on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, second on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. ?
Season-to-date, CBS (4.8/12) is first in adults 25-54 with a +0.1 advantage over NBC. This time last year, CBS trailed NBC by -0.3 rating point. CBS is just -0.3 behind NBC in adults 18-49 compared to -0.6 behind NBC last season. ?
? EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND was first in households (12.4/18), viewers (19.33m), adults 25-54 (7.7/17) and second in adults 18-49 (6.3/16) and was the week's second most watched comedy. ?
? TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (11.4/17), viewers (17.86m), adults 25-54 (7.6/17) and adults 18-49 (6.2/15). TWO AND A HALF MEN retained 99% of its adults 25-54 and 98% of its adults 18-49 EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND lead in delivery. This is TWO AND A HALF MEN's best adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 delivery to date and the best household and viewer performance since the 9/22/03 premiere. ?
? CSI: MIAMI was Monday's top rated program in households (13.1/21), adults 25-54 (8.7/20), adults 18-49 (7.0/18, tied with "Fear Factor") and the most watched program (19.73m). ???
? THE KING OF QUEENS was first in households (8.1/12), viewers (12.46m), men 25-54 (4.7/11), second in adults 25-54 (5.4/12) and adults 18-49 (4.4/11). ?
? ? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (17.5/26), viewers (28.74m), adults 25-54 (12.4/26) and adults 18-49 (10.2/24) and was the week's most watched non-sports program. ?
