I don't know if this guy is any good. Granted I didn't know who Alfonso Cuaron was, but he appeared to have a couple of major motion pictures under his belt (including an Oscar nominated film). Who knows, maybe they'll be able to use the extra money for a better script and special effects. I am hopeful that WB knows what they are doing.

Rock on! I'm so glad they are thinking this far ahead. My assumption is that the 5th movie should be coming out about a year before the 7th book comes out. I cannot wait!

Cool! Sounds like they have finally decided on a director. They have had so many rumors about different directors, I'll be thrilled if this is true, so they can make some progress on the movie.

Good news????
Good news my a**!
They gave the job to someone that directs tv fiction!
what about Mira Nair?
what about Jean-Pierre Jeunet?
WB calls great directors and gives them ONE week to decide!
What a lost chance!
Thay could turn OotP in a masterpiece but they'll turn it in a joke!
