Banpresto has revealed a few more tidbits on their forthcoming Dreamcast title, Super Robot Wars Alpha. Eager to make their strategy title a rather lengthy experience, over 100 chapters have been promised, which translates into more than 100 battles! Bear in mind that Shining Force 3 only had around 25 battles in each scenario, and you'll realize that the upcoming title will have some amount of depth to it.
Other features in the game include 3d graphics for the battle sequences, the ability to choose your own path, and characters from over 30 different anime, such as Voltron and Gun Buster.
Considering Super Robot Wars F received a perfect score of 30/30 in Saturn Fan, this latest edition could easily turn out to be just as good, at least in the eyes of Japanese games. With a release date still some way off, we'll bring you more information on Super Robot Wars, as soon as we can.
