Summer Fun Reading Challenge 2011 Update We wish to thank all our young readers for their participation over the past 19 summers. During these years, an average of 1,500 students each year completed activities that resulted in Hersheypark tickets. We were notified by Hersheypark that an executive decision was made to no longer sponsor the Summer Fun Reading Challenge through newspapers. While we will not provide specific summer activities, we encourage parents to share our products with their children to keep current in regards to community events and activities.
