The company is located in Saint-Georges de Beauce (head office and factory), and in Vancouver (office and factory). In addition there are offices in Montreal and Shanghai.
Since 1996, Procycle is certified ISO 9001 (2000 version).
This certification is renewed each year.

Beginning of bicycle assembling in Saint-Georges
de Beauce. The company hires about 40 employees
who assemble approximately 30,000 bicycles during the first year. |

Acquisition of Velo Sport Inc. and distribution
of PEUGEOT bicycles imported from France. |
1977

PROCYCLE
begins to manufacture and paint its own
bicycle frames. The company triples the
plant's surface area and the number of employees
grows to 90. |

PROCYCLE
signs an agreement with Peugeot France to
obtain exclusive rights to manufacture and
distribute Peugeot bicycles in Canada. |

PROCYCLE purchases the assets of C.C.M.
(Canada Cycles and Motor Ltd) which is the
oldest Canadian bicycles' manufacturer (since
1899). |

PROCYCLE signs an agreement with PEUGEOT, FRANCE for the transfer of technology
procedures of the "Direct Brazing System" (DBS).
PROCYCLE grants to Mach 1, the manufacturing and distributing rights of a machine used to
assemble wheels (RSA). |

is a finalist in the ''INNOVATION'' category
of the 1989 Mercuriades organized by the

receives the VENDOR OF THE YEAR Award 1994
from Canadian Tire Corporation. Introduction
of the Oryx mountain bike line for the first
year. The plant expands to 203,000 square

PROCYCLE has 450 employees. The 5,000,000th bicycle is manufactured.
- Reintroduction of MIKADO brand is a success.
First bicycle manufacturer in North America to get ISO 9001 certification.
- Acquisition of BODYGUARD FITNESS (founded in Norway in 1969) a manufacturer of high
