• Relocation of the primary campus road system
• Building entry access points separated vertically by eight feet of grade change
• New pedestrian paths to the building access points
• Through pedestrian access to the extreme western portion of the campus
• Create spaces for people to use and interact within

The challenges for the project included:

• Space issues typical of mountainous terrain
• No vacant land available for the addition
• Eight feet grade level change over the length of the existing student center
• ADA needed to an integral part of the design.
• Changes had to respect the built and functional conditions already in place.
• The student center had to remain accessible during the construction process.
