The second season of the worldwide smash hit How to Be Indie will premiere it’s next season on October 11 2010, on the youth-orientated YTV, who have also help develop Survive This and Radio Active.

The show is acclaimed for feauturing a diverse cast, involving cultural elements and treating everyone the same no matter how they look. Though these underlying messages aren’t clear in the fun-filled upbeat episodes, a closer look would show important life lessons.

The series stars teenagers Melinda Shankar (Degrassi) as Indie Mehta, Dylan Everett (Wingin’ It) as Marlon Parks and Marline Yan (Trigger) as Abi Flores. Along with a reccuring cast of Sarena Parmar, Varun Saranga, Ellora Patnaik, Vikram Mehta, Errol Sitahal, Shainu Bala, Atticus Mitchell, Jordan Hudyma, Alex De Jordy amoungst others.
