In case you haven't noticed, a few new boards have been added to the little board section over there under the "Vanchan" section. I'd like to welcome all the Vanchan users to post in these boards, and perhaps in the rest of n0chan, as Vanchan and n0chan have merged. Or... like... n0chan swallowed Vanchan. And then grew a tumor on its face.

But anyway, show them boards some love, and we'll have fun and it'll be great.

Well that was shit, wasn't it? 789 and n0chan were down for a good four days... turns out some idiot thought it was a good idea to fuck with a DDoS Protection Service, and they decided to show him why he needed their services. And took out all of LSN while they were at it. And then some guy (who I believe to be a CWC white knight) kept emailing me, apparently wanting me to think we got owned or something, but I should reiterate that we weren't the target. So he's a dipshit.
Also, the irc is back up to full capacity, and I've created a Facebook page and a Twitter for the purpose of relaying status issues to users.
I'll start off by saying if you haven't noticed the new front page layout, you're either an idiot or blind. If the latter, why are you on the internet in the first place? That's just silly. Also, we gots some small adjustments to the chan software, such as the BBcode tweaks on the postboxes, and the ">" text is a different color, and animated .gif thumbnails are animated now, and the post previews are now the right color...
Basically, we're fixing some of the issues the chan has been plagued with since creation. So enjoy.

I'm working on getting a new front page set up, so as to give n0chan a bit more oomph. It'll expound on a concept I made for 000chan a long time ago in a distant and far off reality. But for now I'm just going to work on this bad boy, along with all the other shit I gotta do. Affiliates, general admin stuff, you know the drill. Also, much thanks to Scotty from Dewchan for being a super cool guy in general and offering up the code to make the new front page possible, and our very own Cone for being rad enough to help round out my ineptitudes in working in html. You guys are magical.
So with the initial stages of n0chan's rebirth complete, we can now move on to the next step: Affiliates. I invite any *chans and sites who are interested in becoming affiliates with n0chan, to visit us in IRC Channel and discuss it with either myself or another admin.

I think we all deserve a beer. Bruns is out of the picture. I'm here to fix his mistakes, and we're bringing the ol' family back together. Fuck yeah.
In case you're of the mind that Bruns did nothing wrong, allow me to enlighten you. He has pissed off more than his fair share of useful 'netfolk. Such as NekoArc, Greedo, SeanieB, countless programmers, et cetera, et cetera, ad nauseum, ad infinitum. I won't go into details. In recent news, Bruns thought it was a good idea to DDoS 000chan.org and blame it on our good pals over at vanchan. Unfortunately for him, Seanie's not a dipshit.
So bear in mind that this "hostile takeover" is long overdue, and was much needed. To the new guys, I say "hi 2 u!" To the old 000 veterans, I say "welcome back, you fuckers." The IRC is up at [email protected], and for the next few days, I'll be tweaking what's left of 000chan. Now let's get to work, my niggas.
