Hong Kong: 15 March, 2005 – California Fitness, part of 24 Hour Fitness Worldwide, a global leader in health and fitness facilities, announces its partnership today with international superstar and fitness devotee Jackie Chan. The partnership includes the creation of California Fitness Jackie Chan signature clubs the first of which will open in May 2005 at Prestige Tower, Nathan Road in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon.

Future clubs are slated for Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, China and other select countries across Asia and around the world. Mr. Chan, who has long been an ambassador and advocate of good health and fitness, will be actively involved in tailoring the ambience and facilities of all California Fitness Jackie Chan Sport Clubs to create his very own signature. As inspiration to our members, clubs will feature large custom-made murals and Jackie Chan memorabilia, as well as exclusive “Jackie Chan classes,” which will capture the beloved action hero’s infectious spirit, energy and passion.

 

In keeping with California Fitness style, innovation and service, this 35,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art, full-service fitness facility will feature numerous amenities, including an extensive line of cardio machines, resistance equipment and a complete range of free weights. Both male and female members will have access to steam and sauna facilities.

 

Clubs will also offer cutting-edge group exercise classes almost every hour of everyday from 7:00 am to 10:30 pm, while internationally certified personal trainers  will also be on hand to help members attain their fitness goals. In addition, a wide assortment of nutritional supplements, Jackie Chan fitness apparel and accessories will be available at the clubs’ Pro Shop.
