Christchurch Muslim Youth Help Out
The tragedy unleashed on the city of
Christchurch by the 22nd February
earthquake has left various parts of the
garden city water logged, collapsed or
collapsing infrastructure including roads
and sewage system.
The huge silt deposits have become
eye sore and a health risk in many parts of the city.
About 47 Muslim youths assembled at the
mosque on 28th February and went out to
assist Christchurch residents in cleaning the
city.
Some of the youths knocked on
doors and asked residents what help they
needed so they could assist.
This saw many Muslim youths
taking part in tidying and cleaning homes.
