Anna Simone Scott makes her directorial debut with the film, THE AERIAL GIRL, which has just been accepted into competition at I've Seen Films International Film Festival in Milan, Italy, this October.

3D Workshops: Sony 3D Technology Center

BAFTA Los Angeles invites Members to attend the two-day 3D workshops presented each week by the Sony 3D Technology Center this summer.
 
Held on the Sony Studios Lot, these workshops are an advanced course offered to directors, cinematographers, camera operators, producers and executives for both motion pictures and television.
 
Over two days, participants learn the fundamentals of making good 3D and what to avoid. The workshop will include classroom presentations, on-set workshops and practical demonstrations over the course of two full days.
 
The workshop will run on Thursday and Friday between 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The workshop will be presented weekly until August 25/26th and each two-day workshop will be identical in content.

June 30 & July 1
July 7 & July 8

August 25 & August 26
 
How to Register.
 
1) Select which two-day workshop you wish to attend. Each workshop is identical in content.
 
2) Send an Email to office@baftala.org.
 
In your email please include your Full Name (as it appears on your ID), BAFTA Membership Number, Telephone Number, Email, Occupation, any current Union Affiliation, and your current level experience with 3D or your upcoming plans for using 3D.
 
Please clearly note your preferred two-day session to attend from the list above. In the event that your first choice is already full, You may also select a 2nd choice if you wish.
 
4) BAFTA Los Angeles and the 3D Technology center will confirm your RSVP by Email with full details and registration information.
 
Please note, availability is very limited. We may not be able to accommodate all requests from Members and requests will be treated on a first-come first-served basis. Therefore, please remember that this in advanced course and only request a space if you can guarantee you will attend.
