The Family Therapy and Systemic Research Centre is committed to developing a research resource for the systemic family therapy field through this website.

We are mapping family therapy and systemic research studies in order to build an online bibliography which practitioners and other professionals can use to learn more about family therapy processes and outcomes.

We invite you to contribute to the development of this research hub, and to make use of its resources.

We will post and provide information about research-related events and opportunities, promote published and unpublished research, and aim to foster links and collaborations between researchers. To find out more about what we aim to do, click here.

Eileen Munro’s report on Child Protection was published in May 2011, in which she reviews Reclaiming Social Work in the London Borough of Hackney where a systemic approach was introduced at management level and for social workers, which included embedding family therapists in social work teams. (See especially p.139 & p.153).
