I cannot say that I have ever played a driving game that has challenged me and given me more feelings of reward for my hard-earned efforts than "Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec."

The most complete and polished piece of football software I've ever spun (!) on my PS2.

The fighters move so fludily that one almost feels as if they are being helped from the onscreen character.

Highly addictive gameplay that seems to never end, generally impressive visuals, and a portal designed around an interactive worldwide community all combine to make this the best possible solution SCEA could have hoped for with regards to launching it's new 40GB Hard Disc Drive.

Simply put, Grand Theft Auto III is the best game to be released in the past two years. Possibly the best to be released in the past ten.

Polished online interface + incredible sense of speed (i.e. bikes out of hell!) + perfect arcade handling (wheelies anyone?) + plethora of modes to tinker with + no "GT3: A-Spec"-type customization or realistic physics = the best PS2 arcade racing ever made.

Easily the best Soccer game out there for any platform and even moreso one of the BEST sports games on the market. This is "FOOTBALL" the way it's meant to be.

Probably more fun than any other game released in the last half of 2002.

Sure Blitzball and the Upgrade system irk me a bit but the absolute perfect presentation and plot are worth these minor aggravations. This is the first MUST HAVE RPG on the PS2.

Do you need more proof of NCAA Football 2004’s superiority? Besides being the only version of the game to support online gameplay and having a ton of new teams/camera/angles/fight songs/sound effects added, how about the absence this season of last year’s pretenders-to-the-throne from Sega and Sony?

Madden 2003 is the best overall football game ever made, period...Denying it the perfect score it so richly deserves just because "NFL 2K3" comes soooo close to unseating it would be a crime.

Tight control, a fantastic training mode that really helps anyone learn, original modes like Kumite and just awesome AI make for one of the best fighters in years.

From reasonably good-looking graphics to kick-ass sounds (dig those funky KISS tunes!) and more gameplay modes (online as well as off) than most players will know what to do with, the PS2 version of THUG is the most complete extreme sports title ever made for any system EVER.

In the end this is THE game of the year as far as I am concerned and even exceeded the amount of fun I had with "Final Fantasy X" a year ago.

Whether it be blasting gun-toting monkeys or zombified idiots, Timesplitters 2 has awesome AI. I just cannot say enough about how well done the enemies are in the game.

Nearly everything in the game is interactive the way it would be in the real world whether it's melting ice cubes to leaking flour bags. The detail is staggering.

The best action adventure game on the planet.

Upgrades to every key area of the gameplay design resulting in a near-flawless title. A real showpiece and a stellar example of what the PS2 is capable of in the hands of talented developers.

Delivers fast-paced combat, platform leaping action, and a decent story to boot. With all this fun, and a forty dollar price tag, you simply can't go wrong.

What it lacks in licenses and features (no online play!) WE7I more than compensates for with the most realistic, intense, attractive and all-around addicting soccer game to ever appear on PS2.

This is the best in the series and my nomination for action game of the year. I loved every minute of the game including finding all of the secrets in the game.

The track designs are really what make this game worth playing. It reminds me of "Rush 2049" on crack with little details such as close calls and drifting that make the game a joy to watch.

A rock-solid Role-Playing Game with a moving story, believable characters, and loads of great humor that keep it from dragging you down...Hands-down the definitive role-playing experience for the PlayStation 2.

No game is perfect, but I'll be damned if Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal isn't close as can be. There's something in here for everyone to enjoy, and at a mere $40 pricepoint, it's worth every penny.

With better graphics, deeper gameplay, a polished ESPN interface to die for and an outrageously low price ESPN NFL 2K5 offers the most bang for your gaming dollar, period.

But I would pledge my undying allegiance to anyone responsible for a beautiful work of art such as this.

This is *the* one game you must buy or otherwise youll never see the true power of the PlayStation.
