Join a Park Ranger to hear about the many contributions of Benjamin Franklin to his city, his country and the world. Tour begins at the entrance of the Franklin Court Underground Museum.

George Washington and Slavery; the Private Thoughts of a Public Man" The President's House site 6th and Market Sts.
Join a Park Ranger for short talk about the President's House. Throughout his life, George Washington never took a public stand against slavery. By the time of the Revolutionary War Washington's position toward slavery changed. In his private writings/conversations an anti-slavery message emerged. If his opposition to slavery is genuine, then why did he not take a more public stand?
