American Priest had 80 Wives !

It’s a true American story, that can shock many Iranians and non-Iranians. Warren Jeffs, the leader of the Fundamentalist Mormon church that practises polygamy, is likely to spend the rest of his life behind bars. “The jury heard that Jeffs personally had about 80 wives, including 12 who he married at 16, and 12 who he married at 15 or younger [!!!] . The polygamist Mormons, under Jeffs’s leadership, refused to renounce plural marriages and now have about 10,000 followers [!!!] . The sentencing of Jeffs brings to an end the most high-profile prosecution yet of a member of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints [FLDS]. The church, which has been based in Eldorado in west Texas since 2004, claims to be the genuine Mormon church adhering to the traditional practice of polygamy, or plural marriage as it calls it “, the media reported. The official Mormon church broke with the practice of polygamy in 1890 under pressure from the federal US government which made renouncing the practice a condition of granting statehood to Utah. Last Friday Jeffs gave a speech in which he accused the court of mocking his religion !! and read from a piece of paper which he said carried Jesus’s own words: “I will wrest your power. I shall judge you. I shall let all peoples know your unjust ways [!!]. I will send a scourge upon the counties of prosecutorial zeal to be humbled by sickness and death [!!],” he read. “In the course of his defense, Jeffs said polygamy was a “pure, natural way of life” and one of “God’s laws [!!]“, the media reported.

“You have to be ready for the time I need your comfort [!]. This is your mission [!]“, Jeffs said to the female members of his private harem, i.e. to number more than 80 females, of various ages, before taking part in group s-e-x sessions. But there is least one corner of America where Jeffs is still considered to be a brave and heroic figure. In Colorado City, on the border of Utah and Arizona, where just over half of his church’s members live, locals remain convinced that he is a living prophet [!!] in direct communication with a God who has explicitly endorsed plural marriage [!!] The tradition of polygamy began with the mainstream Mormon Church, whose founder Joseph Smith decided that, to make it into heaven, a man needed at least three wives [!!] . But it was abandoned by the organization in the late 19th century, after Smith’s death, so Utah could be allowed to join the United States. Winston Blackmore, leader of a fundamentalist Mormon community in Canada, was charged with having 20 wives in 2009 nine of whom were minors when they married. Blackmore admitted to having s-e-x with 15-year-olds”, the media added. The poor Jeffs, didn’t know that he can not live like an ancient prophet or an ancient king in the modern world. But it’s very interesting that some one like Jeffs, and thousands of his stupid followers who are as stupid as the people in the ancient times, live in the US and North America ! There is not any person like the stupid Jeffs or his stupid followers in Iran. It’s so weird that the US is the most modern and the most reactionary country at the same time.
